“I love this store and the people who work here! I came in to request a foot scan and was planning to do my own research and try on some self-picked shoes, but Rich suggested a few pairs based on my scan and my goals, so I didn’t even need to think too hard. I wasn’t ready to purchase one then and there, so I asked if I could give it a think and come back another day and Rich was very understanding. The second time I visited the store, Mark helped me pull out the same models Rich had me try on and I gave them all another try. Mark was very patient with my long decision-making process and was so gracious even if he had to go back and forth to bring up several variations (regular and wide for 3 different sizes) of the pair that I wanted. He helped me make sure I got the best fit for myself, answering all my questions about injuries and form so thoughtfully. I came out of the store feelings really good not just about my purchase but my overall experience with Mark and Rich! I never felt rushed, pressured, or neglected and it was so delightful to go through the process of choosing a new pair of running shoes that would have otherwise been agonizing for me if I had to do it all on my own or didn’t have pleasant people assisting me. The outdoor retailer plans to open a 100,000-square-foot store in College Station, Texas, in 2028. It'll sit along State Highway 6, north of William D. Fitch Parkway, next to a Costco and in front of the future South College Station baseball and softball complex. On Sept. 24, the College Station City Council approved a $10.84 million sale of 28 acres in a unanimous vote. Bass Pro gets about 14 acres for its store. Dallas-based Corinth Properties will build a mixed-use project with restaurants and an event plaza on the other 14.
