She watched as I ran on the treadmill with each shoe, and was so attentive. I left feeling confident and heard; I’ve never been to a running store with such knowledgeable and experienced employees. “5-stars isn’t enough for BSG. joe is an expert and as nice as they come. there’s a timeless quality to this store. it wasn’t THAT long ago when most places you would shop at had helpful, attentive staff. When selling a more expensive item over something that was better for the customer was unfathomable, and finding the right thing was the main consideration. I truly hope Joe is able to stay in business as long as possible. I can certainly imagine what store might replace BSG….. selling almond lattes or charcuterie (or both) seems probable.”

“Swang by last week & had a blast chatting & exchanging stickers with Ethan & Lindsay! You guys are awesome!! Ended up grabbing an killah shirt for an impromptu date in the city so I didn't look like a typical surf hobo. Shop is super clean with some select local shapers showcasing some of their boards. Unfortunately Zephyrus didn't have plans for me to surf rockaways but it was still sweet chatting about what the surf is like on this side of the coast. “I came by to get my first proper business attire with absolutely 0 knowledge of what to expect. The moment I entered the store, I was instantly greeted warmly by David the owner. I told him I have no clue of my sizes and what I really wanted besides a suit.
Throughout the entire 1.5 hours I was there, David and I were having great conversation and he was really helpful in teaching me even basic fashion styles all whilst making me feel incredibly comfortable. Once he measured my sizes, the first sports coat and first slacks given to me perfectly fit, had superb quality, and looked beautiful. We tried some dress shirts, a tie, and went through probably 10 different pairs of shoes to match with the fit (of which we took 2 pairs of shoes).
This has been the best customer service I have received in my life so far. I heavily advise on coming down here to check out their selection of suits, pants, shoes, but primarily the master talent that David has, and his sense of fashion that pairs so well with his skills. Thank you so much for setting me up with amazing clothing that will last me a lifetime, David!”
