“I arrived at DSW with a warm greeting by one of the ladies behind the register. I was looking for a new pair of boots. As I was looking a young lady named Jen asked if I needed help. I had found a great pair I liked but my size wasn’t available on the floor. She immediately started looking through her inventory and at first said they didn’t have it. A couple of minutes later she said it showed she did have a pair in the back. She went and found my size and apologized that it took her long but she got stopped by another customer. It wasn’t even 5 minutes! It turned out Jen was the store manager! What a great example of dedicated, professional, courteous customer service. When I arrived at the register another polite young lady Aryannah assisted me as her colleague Jenny smiled as well. The employees at this DSW are always amazing! Thank You Jen, I’m now ready for this weeks snow! ❄️”

“Champs absolutely deserves five stars based on the service alone. The staff here is on another level — friendly, patient, and genuinely helpful from the moment you walk in. You don’t get that fake, pushy retail energy. They actually listen to what you’re looking for and take the time to help you find the right size, the right style, or even a better deal you didn’t notice.

What really stood out to me is how attentive they were without hovering. They checked in just enough to make sure I was good, but still gave me space to look around. When I needed a different shoe size, they were quick, and when I asked questions about fit and comfort, they knew what they were talking about. That kind of customer service makes a huge difference.

The store itself is clean, organized, and easy to shop in. They had a great selection of sneakers, clothing, and accessories, and the staff helped point out a couple items that ended up being exactly what I wanted.

Overall, Champs is one of the few places where the experience matches the product. Great staff, great energy, and great customer service every time I come in. Definitely a 5-star visit.”

“Shoe Depot ended up being one of the better stops during our Black Friday shopping, so I’m giving it a solid four stars. For a day that’s usually chaotic everywhere else, this place was surprisingly manageable. The store was clean, organized, and everything was easy to find — which is rare on Black Friday when half the shelves in most stores are a mess. Shoe Depot actually kept things looking neat, and you could move around without feeling like you were trapped in a crowd.

The selection was pretty good too. They had a wide range of boots, sneakers, winter shoes, work shoes, and a ton of affordable options. A few racks had really good deals that actually felt like Black Friday discounts, not just regular sales with a Black Friday label slapped on them. I picked up a pair myself and saw plenty of other people walking out happy with their finds.

The only reason I’m giving four stars instead of five is because some of the sizes were already picked over, especially in the more popular styles. But honestly, that’s expected for a big shopping weekend. The staff stayed friendly and helpful even with the rush, answering questions and checking the back when they could.

Overall, Shoe Depot was one of the smoother, more pleasant Black Friday shopping experiences. Good deals, good service, and a store that didn’t feel like total chaos. Would definitely shop here again.”

“After being calling the Paramus NJ store with a hang up I then called the Galleria Middletown store in NY. I was immediately addressed by the store manager Bengie who was helpful and polite. He checked my request and told me that he had one item and the other one could be purchased at Champs across the aisle. Was very happy and you could tell he was very experienced! Was a pleasure. I will be a repeat customer at the Middletown location. All this great service on a Monday morning too!”
