“I wanted to update my original review because I believe in giving credit when a company makes things right.
Initially, my experience with Mattress Firm was very frustrating. After my purchase, I had ongoing issues with the mattress, and getting the situation resolved was much more difficult than it should have been. I spent a lot of time making calls, following up, and eventually had to contact corporate and the Better Business Bureau before I got the attention the issue deserved. The process was stressful, time-consuming, and honestly a hassle.
That said, once corporate got involved, they kept their word. They approved the mattress exchange I had been requesting, and the new mattress has been a huge improvement. I’m very happy with it and have been sleeping much better.
While I still believe the process needs improvement because customers shouldn’t have to go through so many steps to resolve an issue, I also believe it’s important to acknowledge when a company follows through on its promises. They ultimately did the right thing, and I appreciate that.
Thank you to everyone who helped get this resolved. I hope Mattress Firm continues improving its customer service so future customers have a smoother experience.”

“There's a Raymour and Flanigan in my neighborhood that my family has purchased from often - mainly due to the convenience, as their customer service has been inconsistent over the years. This time, we happened upon the Raymour and Flanigan in Yonkers on Central Avenue and decided to check this location. The salesman was very professional, informative and welcoming. He compared features between the mattresses within an slightly above our budget without feeling like he was upselling to us. He answered all questions and provided delivery information. The entire process was satisfactory, streamlined and fairly quick. The customer service rep who finalized the sale was pleasant and polite. “Had a pleasure at Mattress Firm today with Frank.
I called on Friday with my concerns, was told to come in, and when I arrived he was ready for me.
The process was smooth, and pretty fun (I had my 8 yr old daughter and mom with me). Frank showed me mattresses based on my physical complaints and needs, and with different price points. He gave me tips on pillows, how the comfort can change with different mattresses, and the difference in female anatomy and how that makes our sleeping and pillow needs different.
I loved every minute of my visit. Got a great deal (didn't even realize there was a sale going on. Perfect timing), learned a lot, and will definitely come again.

“In most Target locations, the employees avoid eye contact and tend to scurry down the nearest aisle to avoid customer engagement. Imagine my surprise when Savid in Target’s Mt. Vernon location initiated a conversation with me. I guess he noticed me glancing from shelf to shelf in search of a plastic carafe. He asked if he could help, entered plastic carafe into his pocket gadget, then told me where I could find said carafe. I hope that the team at Mt. Vernon’s Target know how lucky they are to have employees like Savid.”
