“I love the Mom & Pop feel of the store. The signs are all very humorous and the prices are reasonable. Best place to get your custom stamp made in a short amount of time. They also have a large selection of pre-made stamps at the ready. If I could add a 6th star I would because the store cat (Ratty) makes the experience that much better.”

“Best toy store and craft store where you can art supplies, celebratory balloons, poster boards etc…! The employee that day was super helpful! He helped me pick out a celebratory balloon, and was very knowledgeable on selecting toys for a newborn :) 10/10 will always come here for any supplies and craft shopping I need. “I absolutely *love* the watercolor paints I bought! The Star Gold is amazing, the Titanium White did great coverage over dark paints. I am waiting for 2 pans on back order. Will order again. When you order, be aware this is not Amazon next day delivery, but what I got was worth the wait.”

“Really cool place but apparently you’re not allowed to take any content there which sucks for influencers, but I’m definitely going back to grab my materials”

“Can't say anything bad about them. I had a client call and order over the phone and it was available for a smooth and clean pickup the same day. I can always find what I need and they have multiple NYC locations (and a very user-friendly website) just in case you can't find what you need. I even picked up a compact drawing board for myself. The staff was so friendly and approachable that it was an easy sale.”

“I adore this shop and everyone that works there. I made an appointment to get personalized stationery for a good friend, who just started an amazing job. Andrea helped me pick out the most stunning cards and then walked me through which fonts would go best. I needed a professional to help make it perfect. Then she and the gentleman, who handles the pens, worked with me to pick out a pen that was professional, wrote beautifully and would make a statement without being flashy or too feminine. My friend was absolutely over the moon about the present. Andrea was a joy to work with and everyone else was so pleasant and professional. No other stationery shop is getting my business.”

“The staff were very helpful when I was making my order. I was able to get a variety of raw stones for carving. The shipping was faster than I thought possible, under 48 hours, which left me in disbelief. When the box arrived, it was in pristine condition, packed very securely, and my order was reasonably priced as well, which I appreciate greatly. I will definitely be making future orders!”

“The framing team here is awesome! My husband and I came by with canvases that needed stretched and framed during their 50% off sale and had a great experience start to finish. They offered great, genuine guidance from start to finish that made for a stress free experience, and our artwork was done within the expected 2 week time frame.”

“Tucked away between Soho and Chinatown is an unexpected Paper Source location. Since the great implosion of Papyrus and Kates Paperie closing down (most if not all) of their stores, it has not been as easy as it used to be to find a nice card shop that also wraps presents. Fortunately the ol' Yelp app helped me find this Paper Source location. This shop is interesting. It is not just a card and gift shop. It is also a cafe! The card/gift store is in the front and it is a very charming little shop. Don't turn too fast or you may knock something down. Things are really packed in. Then behind that is a small entrance to a cafe with a counter to the left and seating to the right. I did not go into the cafe that day but there were some lovely smells coming from it!It took a little bit of time to get the attention of the young lady behind the counter. She was *heavily* engaged in doing...something behind the counter. I just stood there waiting (not wanting to startle her) but other customers beat me to it. Once I had her attention she was more than helpful. I selected my gift wrap and waited for another employee to wrap the present. I was surprised by how long this took. The gift was a Barbie doll and it took over ten minutes to wrap. Mind you, it was *very* carefully wrapped and they did a great job, I was just surprised. The wrapping job cost $8 + the cost of the paper, which was a bit more than I am used to paying (another shop I've been to on the Upper East Side charges $5 + the paper). Still, I was in a rush so I went with it.In addition to cards and gift wrap, this shop carries a variety of gifts including toys, board games and puzzles so if you're looking for a gift this is a nice place to visit!”

“I have been going to Paintbox NoLita for the last few years, and have had 4 separate pieces framed. I don’t write reviews often but I want to commend their services. Every time their work is top notch (most pieces I’m framing are fine art prints or paintings), and they always handle them with care. The museum glass option is a must for me, and their pricing on it is good.I know I can go to them for high quality work, and pay fair prices.I have to give them credit: as recently a lenticular I had framed by them slipped inside the frame and was crooked. I called them up and they told me to bring it in and they would fix it. I didn’t even have a receipt as it had been over a year, but they took the piece and fixed it within 2 days - no charge. This is the customer service I appreciate, and will continue to give them my business and recommend them to others.”

“I would give them 10 stars if available because they always come to the rescue with their Pantone chips. So many people thought these guys closed. But they just moved a few blocks away from their original location on 33rd st! Lifesavers! When you’re in the middle of production and one of the colors needs to change quickly - then you need to get to Columbia. Plus they have amazing Art supplies. And their staff is friendly and knowledgeable”
