“Sylvester and his company save my vacation in the midst of covid! With all the confusion of 2021 we did not have the correct test for our cruise. By chance I found VeniStat and Sly sprang into action. He opened his office for a small group
of us to take our test and we got back to the ship with 30 minutes to spare. It sounds extreme but I had a lot going on in my life at the time and if this trip had failed I genuinely think I wouldn’t have gotten to where I am now. However, the lady who was taking my test, she is absolutely amazing, these 5 stars for her! I even didn’t notice the needle in my vein!!”

“I rarely write reviews but felt compelled to share a positive experience with the W 17th St Labcorp. I have a fear of needles, I detest getting my blood drawn, I'm extremely squeamish and have never once had a good experience getting labs done, but the person who drew my blood today was gentle and efficient. I walked in without an appointment at 11:40am and was out before noon. They found my vein straight away, and the phlebotomist was patient and understanding about my fear of needles. The facility was clean and I would definitely come back here for future bloodwork. I didn't get the name of the person who saw me but I'm very grateful for such a quick and painless process, thank you!”
“This is my third time to this location. The staff is always patient and welcoming. However, this time it was all booked up and I could not get an appointment so I was a walk in expecting to wait for an hour. They put me in between appointments and I only waited five minutes! The technician was so wonderful and accommodating. I love it when someone knows what they’re doing when they draw blood. Totally painless.”
“My doctor recommended I have three x-rays, two ultrasounds and a CT scan, which I was able to have scheduled the next morning. (I was so happy to be scheduled so quickly, as I was very nervous!) Everyone, including the ladies at the front desk, especially Yolanda, were all so kind and even got me in for two additional tests that I needed. The technicians and nurses went out of their way to make me feel comfortable, especially Irene and Karen. Dr. Maklansky was so kind to me when he discussed my results with me. The best part was receiving my (good) test results so quickly after I had the tests completed! I highly recommend NYMI for any imaging testing you need to have performed!”

I'm from Bklyn. but preferred to schedule an appointment at this location, online, through my Quest account. They were prompt. There was only one other patient in the waiting room. I wanted to be there really early. I arrived almost an hour early from my morning appointment time and I was still able to check-in. When I was called, it was a half hour before my appointment time. Woohoo!
They send you reminders of your appointment through text and email. They also email you a QR code for easier check-in at the kiosk. When you scan the code, you check that all your information is correct and up-to-date. At least for me that was all. Then your name will show up on the TV screen as checked in. So make sure you do see your name up on the screen.
As a busy NYC public school teacher, I truly appreciate the appointment reminders. Thank you Ms. Technician!!”
“I had the most pleasant experience having my blood work done at this place. I care most about bedside manner, kindness, and efficiency. This location is excellent. I would recommend making an appointment online before going. It is small and many people come for walk-ins but the staff remain calm and friendly despite the high level of people that come in. The staff speak fluent English and fluent Spanish and are incredibly nice. I had to wait a few minutes with an appointment and once I went in the bloodwork took maybe 5-10 minutes total. They are FAST and efficient. Thank you to the people at this location for all their hard work.”
“The results were sent to my email within an hour. It was my best PCR testing experience so far and I was thoroughly impressed by the caring and considerate personnel at this medical facility! Happy to recommend! I'm disabled and use a wheelchair to get around, which can be pretty uneasy in Ny, especially Manhattan. When I drove to PCR Test For Travel Manhattan to get tested, as I was getting out of the car, one of the employees (forgot to ask him for his name) told me I could stay in the car and the nurses could come out. Honestly, I was wowed! You don’t usually get this kindaa attention in the city! The nurses came quickly, swabbed me and that was it....??”
