“I am absolutely in awe at my discovery of this place!! I am a first time dog owner and my pup is extremely picky. Not only does my pup enjoy the delicious dog treats (yes, delicious! You can try them) but she’s always looking for more.I also received a chicken dinner meal for my pup and can say I trust the ingredients and process with my heart.The owner is kind and passionate—I’m so happy I can support a local business. Prices are very reasonable and I feel this will always be a reliable source of food and treats for my pup!”

“We came in tonight to purchase a tick remover tool because we lost ours and our dog had two ticks behind her ears. Even though she is treated because of where we live and that she plays in the woods she gets them still sometimes. The girl told us they do not carry the tick tornado anymore and showed us a spray that they had. She asked me if my dog has a tick right now and I told her yes two on her head. Immediately she offered to remove the ticks for us! She was beyond gentle with my girl even though she was nervous being in a new store, having a stranger handling her. I do not know her name she had dark hair and tattoos on her wrist/hand but thank you so much! We would have had to drive 40 more minutes to go to petco to get the tool. You were amazing!!! ❤️”

“The store is clean and organized, and the staff are friendly and willing to assist. They have good sales in pet supplies, so look for those. However, prices are average compared to other pet stores, maybe a tad cheaper. Parking is good, safe area to shop. Very close to the expressway and other major shopping locations. They also have a section for basically cat/kitten adoption. It's where I got my little girl kitten ?.”

“We were happily greeted right when we walked in! Thank you ? Today was Mochii's Gotcha Day so I wanted to treat her to some toys and treats. The store was super clean and organized. She couldn't decide what to pick out because there were so many choices and lots of sales! A very happy customer! We will be back soon!”

“Went yesterday and this store was so great! They had everything aquarium related a hobbyist might want and the pricing was competitive with online retailers as far as I saw. Great selection of fish, fresh and salt water. The staff was young but friendly and helpful with moderate knowledge on the fish in the store and considering how many different breeds are there I was impressed with everybody I talked to. I do wish there was a bit more information on the tanks of each fish besides just name and price but that's a personal preference to learn more about the ones I'm unfamiliar with and it might help a newbie to the hobby determine what will work best for them. All in all I'll be a new regular!”

“I have been buying raw from Pet Health Plus for 2+ years now and I couldn’t be happier. Tina and her mom are personable and extremely easy to work with. You can walk in and buy pretty much any variety of raw you’d ever want to feed your animals. On top of that you can order in bulk and save money and they always let you know when you need to order so that you don’t miss out on an upcoming shipment if you do decide to go with a bulk option. This store is awesome!”

“Been buying pig food for the last two years and the last six months or so you can't seem to get it? Even though it shows eight in inventory for the last four months maybe longer. Don't know who does your inventory but you really should learn how to do it. Been buying the feed elsewhere. Was told many times that it was coming in but never shows up. Spend a lot of money on feed there the last two+ years you just lost a famer who will be going elsewhere from now on. UPDATED: I was contacted by one of the owners and he corrected the problem, and all is good. Great customer service. Update 5 stars for Customer service”

She treated them so gently and even worked with my little Ollie to get him used to the nail buffer - a task I thought was impossible. They went from being very scared of grooming with their tails tucked under the entire time to now entering and leaving the grooming salon with their tails wagging. Thank you Amanda! You're the best!”

“Every time we come in, the groomers are always so excited to see Myrtle! This is one of the ONLY places that can trim our basset hound's nails safely without our dog panicking. They are so good with positive reinforcement and giving her love during her trim. You can tell everyone there truly cares for animals. Would definitely recommend.”

“Country Max is such a fun and unique store. Not only does it have amazing gardening supplies and beautiful plants, but they have a retro candy and gift area, as well as snacks, drinks, clothing, footwear, and items for your pets, and unique outdoor decor. I also love checking out their live animals at the back of the store. They have all types of birds, and small lizards, and other animals. They also sell live foo for your pets and set ups and food for any new pet you take home. You really need to check out Country Max. It will be one of your new favorite stores I promise you.”

I stopped getting my chicken feed from here because it was more expensive than other commercial farm stores, but i was pleasantly surprised when I stopped last week and my items came out to less than what I had been spending! They have everything. Stuff for dogs, cats, horses, and chickens (and more). The same friendly faces every time. This business is a gem. I would recommend stopping and checking this place out even if you don't have animals. They have garden supplies and candy too!”
