“I recently found myself in a difficult situation I made many calls to TFCU and quite frankly I was given the run around until I went to the credit union location in Massapequa and fortunately I met Cheryl Jacobson and thank goodness I did she was helpful and empathetic and I feel went above and beyond and was not judge mental. She was a breath of fresh air for me. She introduced me to Ray and Anthony they too did try to help Anthony took the time to reach out to me by phone. The situation is unfortunate and I’m sure others find themselves in a similar way. While nothing resolved I do feel better having dealt with Cheryl Ray and Anthony .”

“Been an IFCU member for my entire life- recently had a scary and unfortunate scenario happen following a scam call. Both John's and the managers immediately took control of the situation and protected my account (and sanity) within seconds. They also sat me down and connected me right away with the fraud department and told me exactly what steps to take following the event. The situation was anxiety provoking but their calmness and quick action was extremely appreciated.A special shout out to John M, who took his time to give me advice on scam calls & how to always protect my account with scam calls being on the rise. He also gave great banking knowledge and advice in general that I actually had not known prior. John M even double checked everything with multiple IFCU members and departments for me before I left because he truly cared and wanted to ensure my issue was properly taken care of.I look forward to my issue being officially resolved but I am very grateful for the staff members who were working that day for handling my situation the way they did!”

“My experience with my HELOC application was great. Johanna was so responsive and patient with me. Returning emails answering questions in five minutes. Never had to wait for an answer. She was just amazing.Then, when I had a problem, opening up the membership and uploading documents, I went to the physical branch in West Babylon. Chris was great there too. He simplified everything and made everything that I was having problems with all day work right away. Great sense of humor. We laughed the whole time. Another great experience. The managers Miki & Nikhil will go out of their way every time to ensure you have a good experience. The tellers are quick and courteous as always. I've had TD for 6 years now and I went to another location on Broadhollow road and was told that they were unable to open the account since it's not a NY originated business, which is false because I know plenty of people who do this. I came here and then found out the documents i need and then 5 days later came back, and Sandra called me over from the waiting area simply because she recognized my face. I sat down with Sandra when I got here and she took great care of me, very friendly, very patient, answered any questions I had and most importantly she helped me open my account. All I needed in addition to business documents was 4 points of identification which the other location could have just told me. Anyway I was very happy with the service here and I will continue to do my business at this branch and would be happy to recommend Sandra.”

What happened to me was embarrassing, confidence shattering, and put my trust in my own decision making ability in question. Sharing my story with Michael was a great help to my overall disposition. He listened, and never judged me in any way. I felt my anxiety decrease. Michael helped me by setting my sights on the present and making necessary changes to my Flushing and other accounts. He provided me with great suggestions. Some of the suggestion included: filing a police report, file a claim with the company in question's Fraud Department, change all passwords, pay bills with credit cards, remove auto pay, lower my balances in my accounts and open a secure CD account. All of these suggestions were explained in detail and I followed much of his advice. In closing, Michael Genova gave me exemplary customer care. He is highly professional and I recommend Flushing Bank to anyone who wants individual personal care.”

“Having worked in a bank long ago and having been a call center customer service manager, I'm very exacting by nature. But I love this particular branch on 220 W. Old Country Rd, in Hicksville; I've felt happy enough to stay loyal for 25 years and it hasn't been the same branch manager the whole time. In the past decade in particular it has only gotten better with a real commitment to improvement in efficiency and customer experience. Banks are still banks, with all kinds of complex procedures, so it's all about the personnel and what kind of human interface they can provide. I'm amazed at the care they must put into the hiring or interview process to get such competent, caring people. There's not a lot of turnover, but when it does happen, each time they find a new star. Though it's not the biggest of banks, and doesn't meet every last one of my needs, they deliver a 110% effort and warmth every day.”
