Some of my favorite products are sweet & hot jalapeños peppers, I usually purchase 2 jars at a time along with 2 jars of sun-dried tomatoes in olive oil! In the summer I do pickup several bottles of low calorie lemonade for mixing with ice tea & fresh mint from my garden!”

“I love this supermarket. You can get in and out of the store in a flash, it is clean, very well stocked especially for a small store and the staff is great. My only complaint is that the produce can be underwhelming. I see so many of the reviews compare Country Market to Stop and Shop down the road. While you might be able to get food cheaper at Stop and Shop, Stop and Shop is often understocked, the staff is discourteous and getting in and out of the lot is bad.”

“This has a big variety of Hispanic foods. Very easy to get in and out. They have a hot deli but I've never used it. Nice produce! The ice cream freezers have sometimes had a problem of freezer burn or melting and refreezing. Check your products. My ice cream sandwiches were quite obviously thawed and refrozen. Surprisingly a lot of products for a small store. Always clean and well-stocked. Good prices.”
“I have lived here and shopped at ShopRite of Pearl River (twice a week at minimum) for over 30 years. I had an unpleasant experience today at self checkout over an item that scanned incorrectly. It was minor really but the attitudes of the self checkout team member and the front end manager, whom I have never seen before (I will assume he is new), were, to me, major. ShopRite...your loyal customers are not there to steal, get reproached, or have precious time wasted. Stop and correct the bad behavior now before shopping at Stop and Shop looks like the better experience!!!
I want to post this long overdue update...giving it Five Stars. One of the Shop Rite managers called me to express concern and discuss my experience. He assured me that my experience, as well as appropriate protocol, had been discussed with staff. I very much appreciate the call, the concern and the follow-up. Love my Shop Rite of Pearl River!”
“You can find so many wonderful vegan products that are hard to find elsewhere. I bought things like jerky, Amy’s cheese pizza bites, “wings”, ice creams, Abe’s muffins… They also have healthy stuff if that’s your vibe. The pizza bagel I got was amazing heated up in the air fryer, they have multiple vegan fresh options! The cashiers are also wonderful and I like the rewards program they have. I found some items that were cheaper than I can find at other stores.”

The worth superseded the cost.The 4 out of 5 stars is solely due to the sectional layout of the items in the store. The set-up reminded me a department store. The items were categorized more by use than by content.It appeared that an aisle by aisle shop would be a lot easier than a categorized list of needed items.”
