“I live in SE Onondaga County but always travel to Nichols for meats, deli items, seafood, and other needs. Their meats are far & away better than Tops, Wegmans, Price Chopper, etc. the employees are always friendly & courteous. Mr. Hennigan operates a great store!”
“The selection is usually pretty good. The Special buys are cool and the meat and poultry is usually decent. The produce isles are always hit or miss. Sometimes I've gone and seen rotten/moldy/slimy veggies and sometimes the produce is rotated and looks really nice.”

“Probably the overall best grocery store in America. They are also highly ranked for employee satisfaction each year. Their house brand products are just as good as the original products, and somewhat lower. Wegmans is a pleasant place to shop and help is easy to find. But their prices overall have increased faster than inflation, so I've been shopping elsewhere.”
“Nice easy out of high traffic areas,all your every day needs,plus always a daily super meal,fresh bread made on the premises, and fresh cake,and always good fresh hot soup for the cold winter days,they have a great soup there called Pennsylvania soup.you will like it gas ⛽️ fuel,great pizzas,a good assortment of steaks,and ? chicken,and great chicken ? wings.always a friendly staff.you can call ahead for your food orders.a good fish fry on Friday. “After 30 years going to this site it seems like since covid the store has gone down hill. Produce dot stocked or rotten. Many times, ordinary stuff is not stocked. Continually changing aisles around to where you can't find stuff without an app. Going to try taft rd store for a while.”

“This is my favorite Wegmans in the Syracuse area. They consistently have all the basics and best of all it’s small, so I’m in and out in fifteen minutes most of the time.”
“The store by route 57 and John Glenn's is friendly and stock. The one by seneca Knolls seems to have short of staff and supply issues and not friendly manager. The Lakeland one is always closed.”

“I'm going to be super honest with the situation and say that the first time I'm at these people at Price chopper I wasn't the most friendly person but since I've been going there over time they've been a little better and honestly they make things a little easier nowadays since they know who I am now they don't bother me”

“The grocery store part has a wide variety of meats & cheeses but the lady working register hates her life and is a robot. Super annoyed when you ask her anything. But this review if for the Red Onion pizza shop, excellent customer service and amazing prices the slices are HUGE and soooo fresh! I’d go back in a heart beat!! Amazing pizza wish I lived closer”
“I came in for a drink as I was driving by and there was a cat in the store! The employees told me they have tried taking him out many times but he just keeps opening the doors and coming back in. He's super loveable and I ended up staying longer and buying more items... unfortunately for my bank account haha. While in line, some old lady was giving the employee and hard time and said she was calling corporate to report the cat.Please don't let them take the cat from this store! I'm definitely shopping at this dollar store from now on because of this kitty. He's so adorable and made my day! There was also another older lady in line that pet the cat and took pictures of him. She was so happy too!”
“If you shop around for deals, keep tabs on this place. Some of the regular retail prices on national brand products are quite high, but their *sale* prices regularly undersell Walmart and Aldi. Also they have a good deli counter with grab-and-go options. Their fresh meat case is always stocked and looks great. Plenty of cheap Adirondack soda to be found. Courteous service at the front registers.”

Seneca Knolls Market, next door, is a mid-sized full service grocery store, not a dollar store, has fresh meat and produce, etc. It is great for most things, and is right near Geddes and Solvay, so if you're in a hurry, and dont feel like dealing with a longer ride and big parking lots, this place is great.”

“In the past, I have avoided this store. HOWEVER, they have recently completed a major makeover. The results of which have not only improved the overall look of the store, but for a change it is staffed by people who make sure the checkouts are staffed. Also, the fruits and vegetables are well stocked. So are the other departments. I definitely intend to shop here more.One side note, unlike one of Tops competitors, some of their self checkouts take cash. Very happy with the store.”
