“I couldn’t have asked for a better experience getting my wedding tuxedo made. I usually live in basketball shirts and shorts, so walking into a custom tailor shop was honestly a little overwhelming at first. But Onik and his team made the entire process incredibly simple, comfortable, and personable.

What really stood out to me was how much they were willing and able to customize. If you could think of it, they could probably create it. I was able to choose from different fabrics, including lighter options that were perfect for my summer wedding, experiment with different styles, and even add custom images to the lining of my tuxedo to make it truly personal. Having different styles available to see and try on made it so much easier to figure out exactly what I wanted.

Another huge plus was the convenience. Since they were local, I was able to stop in whenever I had questions, wanted to make adjustments, or simply wanted to take another look at the styling. They were always patient and helpful throughout the process.

The final tuxedo came out exactly how I wanted, and it made the wedding day feel that much more special. If you’re someone who doesn’t know much about suits or custom tailoring, I especially recommend giving them a visit. Onik and his team will guide you through the entire process and make it feel effortless.

“This is exactly what New York streetwear shops used to be before private equity discovered that young people enjoy sneakers.

There was a time in New York when shops were part of a culture. They didn’t simply sell things to the community; they participated in it. Then somewhere along the way, everyone discovered branding, venture capital, and the tremendous financial possibilities of selling a sweatshirt for $240.

Walking into this shop reminded me of what I miss about the heyday of New York street fashion.

These guys didn’t open a store so they could become famous for owning a store. They opened it because they actually care about the culture surrounding it. This distinction may sound small, but in modern New York retail, it is practically revolutionary.

Walk into most streetwear shops today and you’ll find the same five brands arranged slightly differently on concrete shelves. You know the brands. I know the brands. There is no reason to embarrass everyone by naming them.

This place is different.

There are products from local New York artists, independent New York brands, and people who are actually part of the community the store represents. There’s an excellent selection of Nikes, a huge assortment of spray cans, caps, markers, and practically anything else you might need to go out and create something.

It feels less like somebody studied street culture and opened a store based on the research and more like the people behind the store were already part of the culture and simply built a home for it.

Depending on where you live, getting here may be a bit of a trek. Go anyway. New Yorkers will travel 45 minutes for a croissant they saw on Instagram. You can certainly travel that far for something with actual character.

And if you’re thinking about opening a shop in New York City, you should be required to make a pilgrimage here first.

Omari in particular has been super engaging and makes sure you can find what you’re looking for. I’ve never felt rushed, and have a great experience every time I stop by. “I love this store. The customer service is okay specifically I asked a woman who was working there for something and she spoke so low was so rude. Shes medium toned had long hair black glasses and a hoodie. And she was glued to her phone. The people at the register were so nice these two young girls helped me out. Specifically speaking a slim tall girl also medium toned with long braids in a ponytail wearing like a black jacket with gold I've never seen her before so maybe she's new but she's fast at her job too.
