“JP was great to work with and we had a great experience. We were in the middle of our day of browsing for a new mattress when we stopped into City Mattress and met JP. He was friendly and helpful. He showed us different types of mattresses so we could understand the feel and differences. Once we found a type that we liked, JP showed us different brands and models in those brands. JP looked to us for guidance on our goal price point and showed us options that fit our needs. He showed us different discounts and sales they were running without pressure. He gave us space to try different options and discuss them. Since we had not shopped for a mattress in a while, it took us some time to try different options and he was patient and helpful throughout the process. JP was able to send us a quote for what we looked at so that we could decide on our purchase. When we asked for a quote on a different model, he was quick to respond and give us updated information. After we decided to make the purchase with JP, he made sure to go over the order with us to verify everything was correct and set up delivery for us. We could not have asked for a better experience and are enjoying our new mattress! Thanks JP!”
“Rare locally owned furniture store. Great store presentation and employees. We were between 2 recliners, one here and one at another store that was not available here. The staff was great, helpful but not pushy. The furniture is mid-cost, but good quality and the prices are very fair (I did my research). We ended up going with the other recliners (higher end) but I will definitely be back here in the future. We stopped by multiple times and dealt with different staff and they were all good and could answer all questions. Kudos to the owners for good employee training. Shout out to Zach and Charles ( I think I have the name correct) for great customer interaction.”

“All of our mattresses are from Jamestown mattress but it had been a while since I needed to purchase a new mattress. After doing some research and narrowing my options, I went to Jamestown’s Henrietta location to explore options there. Jason was so kind and helpful but also allowed me time to think and try all the mattresses I was considering. He was very informative and made sure I considered things I hadn’t even fully thought about. He offered suggestions and information but never made me feel uncomfortable or pressured. I ended up purchasing a hybrid mattress ( latex top and innerspring bottom) and I couldn’t be happier! I also purchased the BedGear cooling mattress cover and pillows and I love them! I would definitely give them a try if you sleep hot!
The delivery of my new mattress and removal of the old were seamless - the guys were friendly, careful and very respectful and efficient. I am so happy I returned to Jamestown Mattress! I feel good about using a local company and the service I received from Jason and the guys was excellent! I highly recommend giving them a visit before you purchase online or elsewhere!”

“This place was so great! I walked in here after going to most of the other big furniture stores in town. The selection at most places is pretty overpriced for what it is. Rochester doesn't have much in the way of high end furniture, but raymour and stores like that want to charge thousands of dollars for couches that'll fall apart in 5 years. Well, that wasn't the case here! They consistently had similar furniture, or even the same brands, for way cheaper! The couch I was looking at was 600$ more in other stores. The salesman was friendly and not pushy, they had deals on floor models, and even gave us free throw pillows. The delivery was a breeze, I called and they came within a day. They were in and out in like 10 minutes, and didn't make any mess. Smoothest furniture experience I've ever had. Definitely made the right choice going to a local shop instead of some big business. Would recommend!”

We were especially concerned because we were replacing some build-in units, and site modifications would be needed. These were handled expertly by Rob, so that the stove and fridge would slide in perfectly. Mike and Rick made the delivery and installation. They were efficient, knowledgeable, and courteous, and politely answered all our questions. We were in good hands from start to finish!”
