3028 Dewey Ave, RochesterWe are really happy with our invisible fence, it works great on our two large dogs and training was an ease. Only issue is they will advertise their fence as an endless boundary, it is not. The endless boundary is just a 30s shock, but I promise 30s is more than enough. Other issue is they will say your dog will be able to come back into the yard without getting by shocked if they do get out somehow, that also is not true. We have no regrets about our fence, our dogs enjoy having a full yard now and they respect the boundary as promised.

I have no doubt that all my dogs and cats have received the best care possible. Great staff that understands how important our pets are to us. Dr Mike Foley ( retired now), Dr Miner and Dr Peter VanVankias have taken great care of my dogs and cats. Shout out to Dawn, Lisa and Tracy too.
Dr Hawkins operated recently on Stella when we thought she had cancer. It was a complex surgery and included spaying as well as tumor removal and was 100% successful. The BEST part of this was when Dr Hawkins called about the pathology report, which was negative for cancer. She sounded so happy and excited to be giving me the good news. Stella wasn’t just “another dog”.
I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Someone thought of the creative idea to put one of my ferrets in the bag I brought with them (for the record, it was very funny). I didn’t leave their carrier with them and they plopped him right on top of his bedding in the bag and zipped it up. What a funny surprise! He was apparently surprisingly content in there too lol.
Every experience I’ve had here has been great. The front of house is always very friendly, the techs are nice and can answer most of my questions, and Dr Hach has always been very thorough with my furry kiddos. Very happy at this vets office!

They have been accurate with treatment plans, diagnosis, and really kind and gentle hands. Personally, I do not love that the Thrive network came into Rochester, but it's certainly not the fault of these providers.

Jeff does a great job of teaching tips and techniques not just for the dogs but for the dog owners too. Even learning a simple command like “wait” has significantly improved Sadie’s day to day behavior. That command gets used before feeding, entering and exiting the house and car and has made for a more enjoyable experience with her. Thanks to Jeff and I wish I had known about paws and claws sooner.

857 S Clinton Ave, RochesterGeorgie's Bakery was an unexpected surprise. Sure, they had signs boasting the best Cuban sandwich in upstate New York, but I must admit I wondered what Rochester's best would taste like.
Inside, the decor was very interesting with a Halloween figure, standing tall and lots of pictures, art and awards covering the walls. The folks here greeted me and patiently took my order.
I was only a little hungry so I ordered just one item - their claim-to-fame Cuban sandwich. Which was surprisingly quite good!
The bread, which is handmade, was not pressed but warm, thin, and soft with enough to still hold the sandwich together. The pulled pork, finely sliced ham, melted white cheese, a bit of thin cabbage, pickles, and the works all came together in a happy marriage of juicy, savory, and slightly tangy deliciousness.
Their pastries also looked very good and with how tasty the homemade bread was, I imagine the empanadas would be tasty as well. They even have a beef banana flavor which I want to try next time.
So apparently the best Cuban sandwich in upstate New York is really quite tasty. I'm sorry I ever doubted you! And I will be sure to make another stop when I'm back in town.

We enjoyed the sopas, tacos and rice and beans. They also have daily specials. The staff is knowledgeable, energetic, enthusiastic, and very fun to be with. Hats off to the chef for the prep work in creating the most amazing lobster roll dinner with roasted corn and an amazing potato salad German style. The beer selection and Sours are outstanding and benchmark, in my opinion. Well done staff and we will be back soon. We also ordered pizza to go, which looks amazing and a quick bite suggests it might not make the trip home.

The venue was awesome, everything was well organized, the bartender was great and the 1980’s themed cocktails that they created were a huge hit! I was planning a big entrance as Joan Jett singing I love rock and roll (karaoke) and am not tech savvy. I wanted to understand the sound system, app, and mic’s and was nervous about whether it would work for what I wanted to do. I contacted Kristin (the event coordinator) in a panic the day before the party and she and Tim (the owner) called me so that Tim could explain things and reassure me which he succeeded in doing! He was also there at the start of the event to go through things with me and make sure everything was set which alleviated my anxiety and let the *epic* performance go without a hitch, setting the tone for a wonderful night. It was a great space and set up and everyone had a great time!

It's a little sad to see the environment these animals are living in, but the city does its best to provide for them. We fostered a nice 1 year old dog with the intent of adopting as soon as we can be seen by the vet.
