“I have been going to Dennis for about 5 -6 years now!!! I won’t go anywhere else if he can repair it. He does an amazing job & gives me advice right over the phone if I call concerned over something: even a light on my dash, tire pressure.. he’s walked me threw the buttons on my wheel; as I’m not that smart when it comes to cars, lol. I called & asked if I could come by after class one day so he or his guys could look at my tires bc the light kept coming on & I had already put air in 3 times within 4 days. He said come right over. I went after class & he was able to tell me what was wrong & fix it right there. Some days they can’t fix my car same day bc of parts or whatever (understandable!!)! But this business is truly one of a kind & I highly recommend it! He does what’s right & doesn’t charge out the butt for things that most repair shops will just bc “we don’t know any different & just want a safe vehicle” as a woman with kids. He knows I’m a single mom of 3 & I believe he does his best to help me when I need it. I don’t have anyone or family who can advise of car stuff other than Dennis & I really appreciate him, his guys & his business! Thank you Dennis & all your staff !!!!!!!!!!!!!🙂”

“I am a senior citizen I took my car to aamco on Mount Read they gave me a price for my car I only had enough money to pay for my car but I need also needed a battery it's wonderful lady named Teresa made sure I had a battery to go on my car so I can drive my car for the holiday weekend she's very pleasant and a wonderful lady and she make getting your car done at AMCO worth going back I will always be a patron of hers no matter where she works she's really nice lady and I surely appreciate her she made my 4th of July weekend happen and I thanks her a lot amco did good work thank you Teresa”

“Had a Jeep Liberty that belonged to a daughter of a friend attending that lost its transmission just before Christmas. The shop at 349 Jefferson did a great job with all levels of service as well as doing so at a fair price. Transmission work is never inexpensive but having a proper job done is worth the expense and I would highly recommend this location. “I have been going to JG for a long time! I used to go to other mechanics and the other mechanics would have my car for weeks, give me a date they would be done with my car and constantly have my car for a longer period of time. With JG they are always up front with exactly how long they will have your car and they never half ass their work. If you are anyone who relies on their car to get to work you know how important it is to have that car back to you ASAP and you know how important it is to know how many days you are going to need to figure out rides to and from work. They are aware of these things and they get your car in and out while doing an amazing job. I also had an electrical issue and even though it took them a while to diagnose the issue, they were always honest that they weren't sure what it could be and they could try certain things to resolve it, but it would be a guessing game. At the end of everything it was just a quick visit to replace one tiny part and I only had to pay around 38 dollars. I was clueless what was going on, they were honest saying they didn't know exactly what it was and they could have EASILY charged me for so many things but they got to the root of it and for the part and labor charged me the honest price. They always try and let you know what needs to be done and how urgent it is so you can plan on what you need to expect in the future. They even took a look at a car I was interested in buying and gave me their honest opinion on if it was worth my money or not. Their customer service is the best of the best and gave me hope that there are good, honest mechanics out there :-)

“I was out of town for several weeks in Brighton, Rochester and my BMW 128 (2011) had issues with the brakes light, check engine soon and ABS lights all going om at the same time, the following day from a 7 hour ride. Paul was very easy to speak with and took the time right when I visited him without an appointment and did a diagnostic test. He determined it was a back passenger, side wheel sensor causing the issue and he fixed the problem. I am grateful for both Paul and Connie's kindness to a stranger and making me feel comfortable, despite the fact that I didn't have access to my mechanic back home. I would sincerely recommend Scotty's Automotive for your future auto repairs. Paul's service was excellent.”

“I had a great experience at the Sunoco Auto Shop. I was in town when my tire pressure suddenly dropped, so I stopped in to have it checked. Steven was incredibly helpful, thorough, detailed, and knowledgeable. I was especially impressed by the level of care and thoroughness from such a young man. He took the time to check everything carefully, explain what was going on, and still had me in and out quickly.
They found a piece of metal in the tire, which I suspect may have been picked up from the construction in the area. Hopefully, with so much construction going on, there can be extra attention to keeping debris cleared from the roadways.
