“I give this store 4 stars because Jason doesn't work here anymore. Jason the store manager is awful to work with. Demanded I cook more pizza then any other company employee, just to throw it away after it sat on the counter. I watched him yell at two 16 year olds working in the deli about having a fountain soda. And when I brought to his attention I wasn't happy he started a rumor and lied about me saying I threatened him.... real snake in the grass”
“My family and I love the deli! Better quality, delicious salads, the hot soup is always delicious. The meats look better than price chopper. My daughter loves the little desserts. Staff is really nice as well.”
“The tacos and tostadas are delicious! The salsa and rice explode with flavor. It’s a cool small Mexican restaurant that serves very authentic Mexican cuisine. The service was great!
Kid-friendliness: They have a small kids menu. Our 5 year old who is picky loved the rice and her “just” chicken and tortilla taco.”
“TERRIBLE! The carts require a nickel deposit but IT NEVER works. I can never get THE CART to unlock so I end up having to stand in FRONT of the store... begging for someone to leave me their CART.. like a bum. Still AMAZING products and CHEAPER than hannaford of market 32.”
“Schenectady Trading Company is a must visit place when in Schenectady! The store carries a wide variety of locally made craft and food items that are beautiful and delicious! The store is organized in such a lovely, aesthetic way and the owner is extremely helpful and thoughtful. It's an amazing way to support local crafters and businesses!”

The store has excellent cuts of meat and I prefer the meat here over market 32. The store can get busy, resulting in sale items not being in stock.”

“I’ve been shopping at shoprite since they opened in 2011. Store is always clean and organized. Love the selections and prices are great. I worked across shoprite. When my clients needed stuffs, I would walk across and get it. It was so convenient. I moved to Texas a year now and still missed this grocery store. However after learning that shoprite in Niskayuna is closing, I’m so heartbroken. Before shoprite wasn’t there, that place was looking like a ghost town. When shoprite opened, it was so vibrant and lively. Now back to the old days.”
“Listen, the area is shady but the food isn’t. It’s a grocery store where you can find the things you can’t find in the super market. If you know, you know.When you first walk in, it’s a hot service area of fresh cooked Spanish food. I say Puerto Rican, My co-worker says Dominican, either or it’s phenomenal. Just pure childhood comfort food I was raised on, available for lunch. Get you some!”

“I've been with the Hannaford in Glenville for a very long time, they have been wonderful. Tim, Danielle, Techs are stellar. Coreen not so much. Constant attitude ive tried to kill her with kindness, benefit of the doubt maybe some personsal issues but it's been 2 years nothing changes. She seems miserable which causes unprofesionalism. Literally called to check if scripts were filled one was incorrect left me on hold for 12 mins put the phone down heard everything then hung up on me..Shes not kind. As a pharmacist I cannot comment.”

“So the review before mine, saying that the 'dark haired Spanish girl' hasn't been there and it's been a mess since, I do agree that she worked very diligently and is very good at keeping a wild and crazy store going. I hope she is doing well because she has helped me many times. One time, years ago my wallet fell out of my pocket in the store and she put it in the safe in case I came back for it. I had just cashed a check and had several hundred dollars of cash in it. I was very grateful because I wouldn't have even blamed anyone for taking it or the wallet being there with the cash gone. But everything was still there. Now that's a good employee. There was a man in there too who was aware of the situation and I really was full of respect and gratitude, I appreciate knowing that good people like them are in our communities. When I drive by at9-10pm on my way home from work, if the lights are still on in there I picture them in there doing their best to get the store closed and ready for the morning shifts.
There's an older woman in the store that I don't particularly enjoy because I find her to be loud, boisterous and smells like stale smoke and clipped cigarettes. She will announce loudly that she can't get anything done and is not even supposed to be on register. Or that she didn't take a break and should have left hours ago... If her time management is out of control like that, it makes me think that she should adhere to the work she is assigned and not just fumble around assigning blame and making everyone else stress out over it. If she's not getting the work done then hmmm maybe, just maybe? They might hire another person or flex someone else in to give the store some reprieve. I'm sure she's a good worker in other regards. She doesn't make me feel unwelcomed or anything like other customers have reported, she's just stressed and frazzled. It's a clear indication that she needs help in there. I find it's unfair to compare the employees to one another. They are totally different people with different idiosyncrasies.
There is a newer female employee in the store lately who is fast, efficient, detail oriented and really has combed through the aisles to remove expired products and organize the mess so the items are actually in the correct spots. A lot of times the store can't keep track of the inventory if they have a popular product that is behind an unpopular one. They won't get more of an item that has been displaced and still in the store or stolen. If they sell something then that can be replenished. I've noticed some products that they are supposed to carry but never have in stock are starting to be in stock again in the last couple of months which I am very grateful for. It's a difficult job. Please respect the workers in there even if you're at odds with them or having negative interactions.
I hope people realize that their job is tiresome and not always rewarding. They are usually understaffed but mostly willing to help. They do put the customer needs ahead of their own so be sure to thank them and remember that they are doing their job.”
“I went to supermarket, not pharmacy. My healthy spending account from Humana is accepted at Hannaford & there are 2 or 3 Hannafords less than 5 miles from my residence in Rotterdam.”
