“Nice selection of imported Italian goods, way more than I was expecting and not too overpriced. Tons of pasta, olive oil, a nice selection of Italian grocery staples, canned goods and candies. They also have imported cleaning items, that was a surprise!”
“The BEST cold cut sandwiches on the block, hands down. No matter whose making it. They always get it juuust right. Their meats are super fresh. Their ground beef will make you the most juiciest burger you ever had. It's something about the blend they use. It's perfect. Oh, and if you're pressed for time, they sell prepared food as well. “Update: honestly I love this store, simply because you get a bang for your Buck. They ALWAYS have a sale and are cheaper than their competitors. The store fried chicken is actually good, once reheated in the oven/airfryer. The produce is good and the meats are decently priced most times.
I love the one on Richmond by AppleBees. The first ave one is ok, just ok.

“Probably considered as one of the best grocery stores to shop for your local spices (....according to Google anyway lol) along with preserved mixed fruit, passion fruit or pineapple jams, huge bottles of mango lassi drinks, packaged ginger cookies + tea biscuits, and snacks like Thala Guli (traditional Sri Lankan sweets made w/ sesame seeds, salt and jaggery like palm sugar) to munch on. Definitely seems like a great hidden gem among the Sri Lankan community within Staten Island. The cashier behind the counter is so kind, patient, humble and friendly. My friend N was just so excited to step inside Lanka Grocery to converse in Sinhalese (a dialect that makes her feel like home) with the staff member and so happy to discover all these snacks, sweets, and drinks that she once grew up with back in her home country.”

“This is one of the places I frequent the most. They're always reliable when it comes to getting sandwiches, rolls, baked goods and cold cuts and they also have a wide array of soft drinks, alcoholic beverages and snacks.
They also have a fresh fruit and vegetable stand the operates independently outside the business. Definitely worth stopping by.”
“Nice little Deli/Market. Very clean. Boars Head Meats make for Big Hero or Deli Sandwiches and is what keeps me coming back, seemingly daily. Wherever they get there hoagie/hard roll and bagels from are always fresh and delicious, worth buying ala-cart. There is a Fresh, but small dairy section and an even smaller produce section. Owner/Management is friendly; the two ladies who work the register during the day are great. The early deli workers stay busy and are always happy to help; the other staff not so much. Open around 6- 9:30-10:00, 7 days.”
“I called her often to get my groceries there's a manager there named Michael last name begins with a P he's very nice and friendly and tries to help you when he can. However in the men's bathroom the handicap toilet seat needs to be screwed on properly the floor by the urinal needs to be mopped frequently and I need to check more often when is need for toilet paper”
