“We found this hotel when we encounter a sudden change of plans and we needed a place to stay in short notice. I can say that we were not disappointed. There is plenty of free parking and the location of the hotel is right downtown. The lobby is beautiful and the staff was very friendly. The rooms are beautiful and very comfortable. The cost is higher, but with the short notice and beauty, comfort, and quality of the rooms I cannot argue about it”

“We travel to Utica at least one a year to see family. We have stayed in many local hotels in Utica and along the east coast. This year we stayed here for Thanksgiving. This stay has by far been one of the best hotel experiences we have had in a long time. Very friendly and generous staff who have been more than willing to help with whatever we have needed from forgotten toiletries to batteries for kids toys. All shifts of the front desk staff were amazing and housekeeping was so helpful and ready with offers of fresh towels and trash emptying even when we declined room cleaning. We haven’t stayed in a Holiday Inn for a long time because we are rewards members of another hotel chain, but this will definitely not be the last time. The level of customer service was very appreciated! Also appreciate the large clean rooms and reasonable room prices.”

“Our check-in was fairly straightforward. The desk clerk went above and beyond to make our stay more accessible.

The room was clean & comfortable.

The breakfast was ok. Nothing special what at least they did have some hot foods.

There was a leak in the hallway near our room that appears to have been an issue for awhile.

The one disappointment was that someone stole a windshield wiper from our car in the parking lot.

“I had a very good stay here. The king bed was extremely comfortable. It may look dated, but I felt it was pretty okay, especially the price, on labor day weekend. There is a great supermarket within a mile, as well as every fast food place imaginable the other way. The man at the front desk was very nice. Also, be prepared to leave a deposit.Walkability: The Price chopper is within a mile”
