Although the day was VERY hot and humid, and the poor crew hadn't had a day off in nearly a week due to losing time during the storm and subsequent local flooding, they were cheerful and helpful and went above and beyond, even offering to help set up things in my new space. “Very clean facility. There were no rodents droppings which was really nice to see. There central air though the facility which I love. There was not unpleasant odor. I definitely recommend this location at Valley Road in Albany.”

“I had stopped by to check about downsizing price and Sally was at the office. I sat down with her. We talked about Space. She showed me several of the storage spaces and decided to go with the one that fit me just right I was very surprised that it took no time to get done. Paperwork was 123 done and over a simple Transfer downsizing very courteous her Customer Service very good. I’d rate her a 10.

“I have been storing my class B camper van here for a year.. I am so happy with the cleanliness and security of this facility. I have an outside parking spot which is well marked, and its always well cleared. I have had to my van out in the winter and they made sure Ud have no issues driving out..Office staff is wonderful too!!”
“We ordered a moving pod from here and we are very happy with our experience.
Customer service was top notch start to finish. We had a pretty unique home buy and sell situation so our timing was delayed and very fluid. They were always flexible and worked with us. Not to mention nothing moved inside of the pod when the t transported it and I am by no means a great packer. When were done either the pod they came the next day and picked it up.
We highly recommend them to anyone who needs a moving pod!”

“We’ve been using Store Away in Guilderland for many years and have always had a positive experience. We previously rented a climate-controlled storage unit with excellent results, and for the past several years we’ve stored our RV seasonally in one of their outdoor storage parking lanes.
The location is very convenient, the facility feels secure, and we’ve always found the staff to be friendly, helpful, and easy to work with. Their customer service is one of the main reasons we’ve remained customers for so long.
The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the condition of the asphalt, particularly in and around the outdoor RV parking lanes. The pavement has become badly crumbled, very soft in places, and quite rough to drive on. It’s in serious need of repair or resurfacing.
Overall, Store Away has been a dependable place to store both our household belongings and our RV. We’d gladly recommend them and will continue using their facility. Hopefully, the pavement issues will be addressed, as that’s the only thing keeping this from being a five-star experience.”

“It can be hard to find indoor vehicle storage in the area. I called the Latham location and spoke to Wayne who explained everything to me. I ended up storing my vehicle here over the winter. Wayne accommodated my needs for drop up / accessing / picking up my vehicle. Reasonably priced and secure. I have no doubt I will store my vehicle with them again this upcoming winter.”
