“The soap here is bar non. Pun intended. I particularly get a lot of benefit from the pine tar soap. Clears up any dry skin, keeps my hair soft, and makes my tattoos sharper. I feel the prices are very fair, and if you store the soap properly and ration it, they will keep for a long time!”

“From start to finish (a very short time, a plus) this was a wonderful experience. The finished product is terrific, and produced a strong upgrade to the overall appearance of the rooms. Every aspect of the project was simple - the measurements were taken one day after we selected the shade type and color, and the shades arrived quickly. The install was performed by an in house installer, who was polite, efficient, and professional.

“The worst. I ordered a fireplace in Nov.8. 2021. Which was in shock. Now no one had the decency to call me to let me know that the fireplace wasn't coming on dec.2 2021. All I got was a sorry I can wait until January. I'm going to cancel and take my business elsewhere.”

“My wife and I were in Troy, NY visiting friends over this past weekend. We make it point to always go to the Downtown Farmers Market and we came upon The Weathered Wood Storefront and it's unique Wood Arches and other woodworks that are handmaid by Danny. We met and spoke to Danny about his work and his past life which he was very candid and comfortable talking about. What a nice, personable guy and his stunning, successful art/craft speaks volumes about him and his appreciation for life. He is a true giant physically and inspirationally. Of course, I now have purchased his book(Amazon) and I'm looking forward to reading it as soon as I get it.”

“Amazing place. It recalled my hobbies with scale model cars, lego's etc., and those were the times. If you walk inside this superstore, you are sure to get lost and start reminiscing.
Shelf after shelf of items that will tempt you. I am traveling so difficult for me to pick up items I want. However, I still managed to find several items worth taking home.
Best part? price. They are so reasonable. The staff are admirably friendly and helpful. A great place to buy Halloween stuff and other party and home hobbies. If you plan on home decor, then this place has a good collection.
All in all, a fun place to be.”

“I bought my battery powered EGO snowblower from Amazon, but it didn't start. I brought it, under warranty to Hatchet, and got it back in under 2 weeks in good working order. They did a splendid job. I'll go back to them for my hardware needs.”

UPDATE: Now that the World Cup is over, it could still be worth checking out this store if you are in downtown Troy. The store hours are limited, but they have won awards for window decoration, so their display may be worth viewing even if they're closed.”

“I needed to fix my fence so my dog stops running away. I was wondering the store in the garden section looking for some fencing materials when Christina came up to see if I need help. She was very kind and didnt make me feel silly for not knowing which materials to get. She directed me to the correct area and gave me some ideas as well. I appreciate the help without making me feel like I didnt know what I was doing. Thank you. Also there have so much great and handy items here. Im coming back to help get my apartment ready for winter. A great find with great staff”
