“Love Trader Joe’s. Love all of their products and even as crowded as it gets, lines move super quickly. If you go later in the day, shelves tend to be bare which isn’t so great when some people need to shop later and cannot purchase all their groceries in one trip!”

“The customer service here is excellent. Everyone--from the cashiers to produce to other staff members are so friendly. Special praise goes to Rebecca, Kourtney, and Trea. All the cashiers are kind and polite and have great attitudes, but those three go even further. They are all so full of energy and make it exciting and fun to be there.”

“The easiest way to look for this store is Domino’s. The owner is such a great guy. Always goes out of his way to help and find you whatever you are looking for. The store is small but super well stocked. The vegetables are always fresh and I always end up spending more than I had planned. The outdoor is super pretty and you can even sit down on a nice day and have a snack and a drink outside. Would highly recommend it to anyone looking for ethnic spices and produce.”

“I love the Newburgh Aldi store. The associates always seem happy and they go above and beyond to help me out. The prices and quality are also the best around. I needed lots of groceries today because I’ve been staying inside because of the awfull heat. Today was beautiful so I went to Aldi with my long list. I wound up getting 4 full bags of food and it only cost me $56.60❣️I am more than impressed.”
“They have a good selection of fruits and veggies, their fresh breads are good, and they have a nice selection of cheese. Their floral and nursery area is a nice bonus. They don't always have some of the basics needed on a typical grocery trip, but you can find some unusual or higher end items that make it worth a visit here. They also have a good selection of hot prepared foods, a salad bar, and sushi as well as a small place to eat the prepared items.”
“Panchito’s Deli in the heart of Newburgh is a true gem. Their sandwiches (hot and cold) are packed with flavor and made with love. But the real game-changers are the birria tacos and tacos dorados, seriously some of the best you’ll ever have. They’ve got all the deli classics, the portions are generous, and the prices are hard to beat these days. You’ll try it once and definitely be back for more. YOU HAVE TO TRY!!”

“Such an awesome place. This little market packs a punch with awesome CPG products. Stella’s Fine Market also won an award for being the best zero-proof bottle shop in Hudson Valley. They have cookbooks, snacks, vegan ice cream, and other delicious non-alcoholic beverages. If you’re nearby and are a foodie, definitely pop in here! You won’t be disappointed!”
“As some others have mentioned, the store has an excellent produce section!! Always fresh and a wonderful selection!! My experience with the cashiers has been excellent as they have been friendly and helpful with packing my purchases. I have other choices in the area but if what I want is available at Sav-a-Lot, that's where I buy it. Always a good shopping experience.”

“Love this place, incredible selection of curated olive oil varietals and aged balsamic vinegar. Really sweet and delicious. I use the white champagne balsamic for salad dressings, and I put a tiny dab of the 25 year balsamic in my sauces to sweeten and add complexity.”
“Great place for a quick stop for food and provisions on our way to a day of hiking. This is our second time hitting up this spot. They have plenty of trail mixes. Good prices at 3.99 a bag. We went to the deli to have fresh sandwhiches made. The meat portions were generous. Price was great. Around 8 bucks per sandwhich. Not sure what the other reviewers mean when they said this place was pricey. But then again, I compare every price against NYC . So the pricing is fair in my opinion.”

“This is my preferred grocery store in the area. Very clean store with more room to move around people than in Hannaford or Walmart. Much better prices on produce than Adams. Better selection on certain items I shop for than any of the above.”

“Geracis haas been around for at least half decade or more. The original owners have not been there for many years. They aged out and retired. Food is still great. I see no difference in the meatballs and sausage. Best in town.My parents went there the better part of their lives. They have both passed on late 90s. So Geracis has been around a long time and the food is still the same. Very Good.”

“Nature's Pantry is an absolute treasure! Exquisite selection of organic produce, grass fed meats, free range eggs, grass fed cow, sheep and goat dairy (a million kinds of Kefir and Yogurt!), wild caught (frozen) fish and unlimited vegan and vegetarian options. There are lots of refigerated fermented foods.
Their supplement center is extremely well stocked and complete, probiotics are actually refrigerated. Top brands are represented and it's a pleasure to look through the choices. Lots of interesting skin and personal care items as well. The store is incredibly clean and a joy to visit. I highly recommend!”
“I love this place the vegetable is very fresh. You can buy fish you can buy make meat. You can buy very cheap peanuts. You can buy sesame chocolate like I’ll be saying like. Candy so delicious and only one thing is no plastic bag. You have to bring them with you or the person from the register gave you box. I’m very recommended this store.”

“Of all the wonderful things Beacon has to offer, I will miss Durkins the most when I move to Poughkeepsie. It's not the amazing bars, restaurants, matcha/coffee shops-- it's this magical one-stop-shop, opens early/closes late, friendly neighborhood convenience store. I've lived across the street for 3 yrs and have seen many different faces behind the counter-all of whom have been helpful and friendly. Great selection of beverages, snacks, household items, etc. They've saved me countless times late night when I needed a snack, ran out of paper towels, was sick and needed cold medicine, or my guest forgot their toothbrush.

“I shop here daily, the prices are good, either the same price as most other grocery stores or less. The staff is kind and friendly, but the produce could be better in terms of fruits and vegetables as sometimes they are either moldy or mushy. Overall it is a good store to shop for goods and necessities.”
