“I don’t often write reviews but I believe in giving credit where it’s due and my experience here was exceptional.
I’ll start by saying that, as a female, I absolutely dread coming to body shops out of fear my lack of knowledge in the area will be taken advantage of. That wasn’t the case here.
They provide discounts as well as cash-pay discounts for those paying out of pocket and gave me a quote over FIFTY PERCENT LOWER than 3 other highly rated, family owned shops in Latham!
Khach and his team were extremely attentive, transparent, and consistently provided updates throughout the process. In the end they put out good, honest, reasonably priced work and my car was done in less than two weeks looking better than it did before the collision.
I’m incredibly thankful that I decided to get one more quote and stumbled upon Troy’s Best. Should I ever need repair services again I would absolutely return!”

One of my tires had a bulge in it, and I was told from a previous place that I needed all four replaced. However, when I came here, Mike told me that I only needed just the one. “Matt was very helpful when I popped in without an appointment for a nail in my tire. Though they couldn’t take me at that exact moment, he gave me a time range for an hour later where they could probably squeeze me in. Though they were busy when I came back, they were kind, polite, and managed to squeeze me in quickly and get me back on the road.
Though I didn’t share it at the time, they were my third attempt to get the tire repaired that afternoon and were able to ensure that I could safely complete a several hour trip scheduled that afternoon!
Appreciate their flexibility and kindness- will be coming back for future needs :)”

Once I explained that it was my only vehicle the extremely nice lady on the phone, think her name was Sherry, found out they had a cancelation and told me to come now. “I found Kevin and his group from the other reviews left on here. It is hard to find a trust worthy person, let alone a mechanic in 2026. I had a laundry list of repairs / preventative maintenance I wanted done on my 05 4Runner. Kevin made sure to go down the list and explain why XYZ is or isn't necessary, and what products would be used for the install. I never felt robbed or cheated on the price, and did my due diligence online beforehand on what I should expect with a quote. Kevin was right where I expected it to be.
