“Good selection of tools to rent. Brought up that the snake I was provided was slipping because the belt was so loose. They worked with me to figure it out. Will definitely be back”
“Schuele Ace Hardware is exactly what a neighborhood hardware store should be. The staff are helpful, knowledgeable, and willing to take the time to point you in the right direction. You can walk in with a project, a problem, or even just a vague idea of what you need, and someone there will help you figure it out.
The store is well stocked, easy to get through, and far more convenient than wandering around a big-box store trying to find someone who knows what they’re talking about. It has that old-school Buffalo neighborhood feel, but with the products and service you actually need.
Great local business. Highly recommend.”
“Great service! I love being greeted by the new employees. Not only do they go above and beyond to help you but they’re also just straight up nice kids!”
“I bought a grill that was on sale. It was a great deal on a really nice grill. The workers measure the opening to my suv and needed to take a side tray off to make it fit. The screws were quite pesky and it was taking some work to loosen things up. I apologized for the extra work they had to do, but everyone responded with " it's not a problem at all" Super Job to all of the staff! Thank you so much. I will be seeing you guys soon.”
“I make it a point to shop at Valu for all that they offer and stopped going to the big box stores if Value has it. They are a locally owned family business, that is supportive of the community and they welcome all no matter your political perspective. Weekly sales help round out prices of higher priced items. Purchasing from local owners is great for our community and helps strengthen or community.”
“Awesome hardware store. Everybody who works there is super nice and happy to help, give all of them raises! Super lucky to have a place like this on the west side, support Dibble instead of lowes/home depot whenever you can!!”
“First time visiting Hector’s Hardware to buy paint supplies and I was immediately greeted and offered help, which I really appreciated. The gentleman who assisted me was kind, friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable. He made the whole experience easy and pleasant. I’ll definitely be back - I just wish it were closer to my home because it would be my go-to hardware store!”
“This feels like the biggest Valu I've ever been in. As with them all, nice staff and good products. No complaints. Wait one complaint: I would prefer a variety of watering cans, instead of just one size. I need a small one for my indoor plants.”
“The man behind the counter was very helpful.
Was looking for a shower mixing valve that was dated to say the least. He was able to find a rebuild kit that save my day. Can not thank him enough.”
“Amazing experience. Will def. Be returning. As a female going to the hardware store can be degrading, even though I know what I'm talking about. Not here. The staff was knowledgeable and made me feel welcome.”
“I have been a regular customer at the Hamburg location for several years
I can't say enough how pleasant, knowledgeable and professional the staff is. I would personally like to acknowledge Tim who on more than one occasion has gone out of his way to assist me”
“Excellent costumer service, I coming to exchange a small generator, for bigger one, all the transaction was smooth and I’m very happy whit my purchase.
I recommend this harbor freight tools”
“Show the prices may be a little higher than home Depot but I'll say this, when home Depot is a ghost town, if I'm walking around looking for something someone always comes to help me at Value”
“I use to go to that very large store where you would have to walk a half mile looking for someone to help you. And when you got there, they weren't ! Not this Value store in Lackawanna ! They will find you ! I have found everything I needed here. The workers there are amazing. I wish I could remember all their names because each one deserves recognition. Friendly, kind and helpful. I was just in there yesterday for batteries and the woman cashier went out of her way to get the number for the type of battery I needed. Thank you !”
“Staff are polite and eager to help. There have never been more than three customers present regardless of the time or weekday. Store is too large for the amount of merchandise stocked. Items are displayed well and priced correctly. Front entrance could be more aesthetically welcoming. Store feels like stepping back in time instead of keeping up with technology and trends. A good location for grabbing paint, caulk, and small hardware.”
“VALU - “The Boutique for Mans”
A place where I had opportunity to buy good tools and receive gentilese from servers.
Everytime I am in East Aurora is a time to see this good store.
I live in Brazil.
Hugs to people of VALU and customers.”
“I absolutely love this place. The staff is so personable. They help you with any questions you have. The prices are very reasonable and I really like that. I can drive up to get the things I need for my hobby farm right next door. Keep up the good work. You all are doing a great job!”
“If I'm in the area I'll come to this hardware store because they have a lot of items that you can't find at the other hardware store in Hamburg , like a larger selection of fasteners and other things a serious DIYer might use. It's one of the last remaining old school hardware stores that can still compete against the big chain hardware franchises.”
“If you need it they have it! It MIGHT be a bit pricy - but- they have it and you need it! Great hardware store. I have been a customer for 45 years. Love the place.”
“Came in for Lamp part to rebuild/update electrical on a 50 year old lamp; Employee Rick was very knowledgeable and knew where to look and helped me find the right part to fit/replace/rebuild. Staff always friendly and helpful, this time really knew what I would need and where to find it.”
“This hardware store has a variety of items and is located in my neighborhood. No need to go to a big retailer or when I need one or two items and can get in and out faster.”
“Bought a new Weber Genesis gas grill. The box wouldn’t quite fit in my vehicle. They followed me home in their truck to deliver it the same day. You would never receive such great personal service at any of the larger big box stores. This store is fabulous. Very helpful, excellent service.”
“Great customer service! Just want to thank Ken and Jenn for going above and beyond in helping me with an issue with my new grill. Ken identified the issue immediately and fixed it quickly. Can’t thank them enough”
“Great selection of grills, lawnmowers, hardware supplies, home cleaning goods, and more.
We bought our snow blower here and we have been very satisfied.”

“I love going to Harbor Freight. They are very friendly and help whenever needed. Also very pleased with their products. Discounts don't hurt, they have those. And anyone can find something they need without knowing they needed it.”
“My sister & I have been dealing with the Blasdell, NY store for years. It's the only Home Outlet store we ever visit. Dan (store manager) is the best! He has helped us through countless remodels. He is always patient, listens and is happy to help guide us. Everyone at this store is amazing! We will always go here for our home improvement needs.”
“Always seem to have the products I can't find at big box store and prices are usually better on top of it, if you have a softener they are the only place left in area I know with Morton salt instead of cheap diamond crystal that causes problems down the road. As far as hardware goes, if I'm working on a car, equipment or project and need something they are the only place I go because I know they will have it. Wether it's a specialized fastener, hardened bolt, or stainless hardware it doesn't matter, sae or metric they have it.”
“Had the equipment I needed. They were very informative about the equipment I purchased, and took the time to show me how it worked. Very customer service oriented. Good people.”

“Clean store, well trained staff that are attentive and informative. Every part of the store was well organized. Also they display the items with the labels facing you. It makes shopping there easy and enjoyable.”
