“While feeling ill on a Friday I called to see if they could treat me. What a pleasant and efficient staff. I went right in and was taking care of. The office is large and spotless.The staff listened and were attentive. Within 45 minutes I was on my way with meds sent to my pharmacy. They informed me my info would be on file for future check in. “Who enjoys going to the Doctor? Pretty much no one, but that’s probably because you haven’t been to this office. I needed a physical for a clinical rotation and my primary couldn’t get me in but I called and spoke with Sandy and she helped me more than I even realized I needed. She may be the nicest human being alive and I’ve never met her in person. Arrived today and was greeted by Cristal who checked me in told me what paperwork she would need all with a smile on her face like she actually enjoyed speaking with me. Next up was Daniela who I found out will be a treating medical professional in just a couple months, her future patients will be very lucky to have her with her personality and patient care, anywhere will be lucky to have her. Finally there is Amy and if I didn’t know any better I’d swear there is a competition between all these great women to see who can be nicer than the last. I was not sick but I’d bet had I been just speaking with this team I would have started getting better immediately. You can’t teach bedside manner but if you could Amy would be the Professor. People that write reviews typically complain about the smallest of issues but if anyone ever wrote a negative review of this crew I’d love to talk with them because I can’t picture them being capable of doing wrong. 10/10 send your family and friends!!! Tell them Fox sent ya!!! Oh and by the way this office is about 45’ from my home and I’m not even remotely upset about it.”

“First time here and I must say The staff are professional, quick, and kind. Blood work is as painless as possible ( coming from someone who hates needles that’s huge.) Being left handed can also be an issue for places as the staff are use to needling the opposite arm. 10/10”
“I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the facility and the prosessionalism and friendliness of the phlebotomist, Nicole, who was on duty. I have very thin, hard to locate veins and she was so patient and professional. And there was hardly and wait time.”

“I have a huge phobia of bloodwork. The woman did what I needed her to do for me to relax. My blood was coming out slow so it took a very long time and was poked several times but she kept checking in on me and gave me time to breathe in between pokes. Didn't get frustrated or yell at me once.”

“Overall I've never had issues with this location. Most times I've gone I'm in and out within 15 minutes. The wait time really depends on the timing. A few times I've gone the wait can be longer if they have a lot of people needing to get blood drawn. The staff I've interacted with were all very nice. I'm glad they had updated to the new suite a few years ago since the waiting room is now a waiting room. If it does get crowded they suggest leaving your phone number on the sign in sheet and they will call when they are ready for you.”

“I was terrified to get my blood work done at my PCP since the nurse practitioner was having trouble finding a vein to draw blood. I opted to walk in at this Northwell lab in Plainview. I am so glad I did.Claudia, I believe is the Physician assistant that works at this location was more than happy to complete my lab requests. She has over 20 years of experience and I didn't even know my blood was drawn. She is a professional. I felt so comfortable. This is this is the kind of assurance and assistance that make us want to keep coming. Thank you Claudia for making the process so smooth. Yes, I trust the Universe that everything will be fine. It all starts with meeting with wonderful people!”

“I cannot fully describe what a positive experience I had at Northwell Health Imaging at the Center for Advanced Medicine but I am certainly going to give it my best shot just like they did for me. From the reception area, to the people who lead you into the area where you need to change for your procedure, to the nurses, to the treatment area, everyone was friendly and more importantly highly competent. This is unfortunately not how it is in most other places but it should be, especially when it comes to healthcare. I was there for a cat scan of my lungs as my doctor wanted to eliminate a blood clot as a possible cause of my symptoms. I confess I was very anxious which made the fact that I felt I was in very good hands throughout the process incredibly important to me. The fact that this was taking place during a heatwave in NYC made it all the tougher. I spent time before arriving trying not to be nervous about the contrast that they would have to administer to me for the test. The nurse who did my IV for the contrast was especially nice and excellent at her job. I wish I knew her name so I could include it here but alas I have forgotten it. What I did not forget is her pleasant demeanor helped me remain calm even as she had to struggle around the scar tissue in my veins. It ain't easy to like someone who has to give you two IV's but the problem was not her skill but my veins. I am well aware of my problem. The technicians in the cat scan area were equally good, and I was so impressed with how smoothy everything went. I was in and out with everything I described above in an hour. Bravo Northwell Health Imaging at the Center for Advanced Medicine. You are a striking example of how and what healthcare should be everywhere.”
