“Been going here for years. You won't find too many banks who actually know you by name and treat you as an individual not a number. It's clean, safe, friendly environment and welcoming staff make it so easy to fall in love with the place. They decorate every season. No dust, debris etc. Windows are almost transparent. The place is so modern and the architecture is stunning, that you gawk in awe. It's updated so no old equipment, design or malfunctioning or delayed computer process. The teller's are so sweet and get you in and out without being rude or rushing. If you don't have a good bank yet or are starting out, I highly recommend trying Pioneer banks in general. I've been to many locations and each feel clean, safe, and customer service is 100%. I do not work here or have ever either. This bank is so understanding especially when you overdraft. They explain everything to you in a sweet and respectful manner. They have lollipops for the kids and I'm one of those people who like to be in and out so they are quick and effective. Plus side they have coin machine and it's skips the line.”
“I have been a long timemember at anothzer credit union (I still am) I loved the personalized service I would receive. It was as if everyone knew me- I was in the market to open a new business account. So, naturally, I went to the place I loved.But things were different- they were in the middle of a merger. They seemed less customer focused than before- I felt as if I was in a 'regular bank'So, I left. I wanted to stay with a local credit union, and I walked into a Sunmark. I was greeted right away, and made to feel right at home. I go to various branches through the Rotterdam area.On November 14, 2023 I went to the location at 5 corners, and the teller (I am so bad with names, 4 letters, began with N, and shared a birthday of 11/15 with me ;-) ) She was extremely helpful, and friendly while also being professional. I noticed the other tellers had the same rapport with the other customers they were assisting.Keep u p the great work! It is so refreshing to feel appreciated in this world of "YOU CAN JUST DO THAT ONLINE"Thank you”
“This is my branch and Michelle the teller is why I drive just for this location. Josh the customer service rep isn't here any longer, which makes me sad but Michelle is and again she is the best. She keeps that small town personal touch her at this branch. Now I can't say the same for other branches but here........again....personal.”

“We are new to the community and opened our personal account with Keybank a year ago. There were hiccups in the beginning, names misspelled on our checks, charges being taken that we were not aware of, items that were not posting to our account and a female manager that told us on 2 separate occasions when we had a concern, "It's not my job." Today we went in to open a business account and L. James Greenaway was Awesome!!! He walked us through everything that we needed to know in a timely manner. Extremely Professional and we will go to him in the future for any of our concerns. Great Job James!!!! We truly thank you.”

If there's not to many customers needing assistance most if not all will engage in conversation with you.The bank is always neat and tidy.I'm my opinion, Johnstown NBT and there employees are much more helpful then Gloversville NBT.I have been banking with NBT since there inception and have never had any problems with any business I've done with them.Added bonus, while basically all the banks in the area have changed hands and or names, NBT has remained a constant for many many years.Before they became NBT they were Central National and the transition was seamless.”

“Ms. Sernetta Jackson from the Guilderland Branch recently assisted me when I thought my computer was hacked. As it turns out it was not hacked this time. The reason I reached out to Ms. Jackson is because last July when I was hacked she assisted me and made sure everything on our accounts were secure. I gave her all the necessary information and she went ahead and did everything up to an including changing my checking account and ordering new checks for me. She made this process so easy for us to get through with confidence that everything was done correctly. It was very reassuring.I have to say every dealings that I've ever had with Ms. Jackson has been outstanding. She is always been very professional very polite very patient very understanding and very helpful. In my opinion she should be the poster person for Pioneer Bank. Thank you Ms. Jackson”
