“Like another reviewer said, coming in here is an experience. David and Peter are just two awesome guys of the community. It’s something out of a movie. The shop is chaotic and disorganized, sure. But they will go up and out of their way to ensure you get what you need and will give you the time of day for even odd hyper specific requests. I was trying to build a guitar pedalboard but make it very customized with a pretty specific thing in mind… but I didn’t really have exact dimensions. David spent off and on about 1-2 hours going through the store and talking me through what I needed and how to do it. Pros and cons. I personally think I can be annoying with some of the trying to understand the how and why but they don’t make you feel that way.
TL;DR: being in there feels like an irl sitcom while also getting very practical help and things.”

“I stopped in to figure out a solution to mount my TV mount to drywall or metal studs. The shopkeeper was very patient listening to what I had tried so far and to my plan, and he offered helpful suggestions. He found screws and washers that were perfect for my situation, and after placing a handful in my hand he told me that I was good to go. I insisted on paying but he insisted that it was fine. “Great old school hardware store with knowledgeable and helpful employees. Been going there for years.Went there today, in the snow storm, to see if they had a pull string starter for my snowblower. After standing around there for about 15 minutes and wondering what's taking so long, the lady comes out with the part fixed! I couldn't believe it. I was expecting to buy the part, install it and fix it myself. All we had to do was go back home and screw it on and Bam it worked. You don't get that kind of service in the big box stores. And they really do have anything you'll ever need there.”

I called ahead to tell them what I needed in my own words I told them and they guided me throughout the whole process, I needed some lumber and didn’t know the measure of the lumber at all, one of gentleman at front took his time to show me the lumber I needed to make sure if that’s the lumber I needed for my project! They have a bunch of tools there and if you need any help, they are open help you! Highly recommended! Will be coming back for my next project!”

“This store is an amazing local hardwar store with lots of cool houseware and decorations for holidays. Not to mention the staff is wonderful and helpful. When I first moved to my apartment nearby, one of the associates offered to carry a bench I bought for my balcony for me to my new apartment. I would honestly go there more often, if only they were open on Sundays! See, Sunday is my only free day during the week, where I don't have work and less likely to have other stuff going on. It would really help both me and our community if they were open on Sundays as well.”

“Best local hardware store. Jimmy the owner cares about all his customers amd extends every courtesy. He is so knowledgeable about most home and even commercial repairs or installations that its a place you can trust. Anyone with an issue can get the advice and help to tackle any job no matter your skill level. Its well worth the extra buck or two for materials because you actually have someone that knows about the jobs you need to do and the materials needed. You go to home depot and all you get is a shrug and or sorry I can't help you that's another department”
