“Food Lion is the promised land of reasonably priced groceries. I came in for bread and left with a cart full of snacks I definitely didn’t need but spiritually required. The rotisserie chicken whispered my name and I listened—five stars, no notes.

“By far the best grocery store in the area. Meat department is amazing and the produce is just as good. Bought some navel oranges a few days ago that are unreal good! Manager is always ensuring customers needs are met and I noticed how well she treated the young guy working the meat department. Keep up the great work!!!”
“Donnas Deli is inside and serve wholesome meals at an AWSOME PRICE! If you want good country sausage this is your place! Occasionally they offer local fresh mullets!!!”

“I visit this Food Lion frequently, and I am always greeted by a friendly face. The ladies that I have encountered here are so welcoming and helpful. They were handing out carnations today for Mother’s Day at check out which was super sweet. I just feel like it’s important to give credit where credit is due, and the ladies that work at this Food Lion truly deserve a shout-out!”
“The Food Lion on Emerald Isle has reasonable prices, MVP rewards, they are well stocked, and the employees are always friendly and seem very happy. I travel across the bridge because the local food store in Cape Carteret's prices are practically double!”
“Love shopping there. They have great meat, Deli, Produce and Bakery departments. They carry a large line of products from dairy to cosmetics to choose from. They carry Boars head lunch meat and cheeses. The only bad thing is the carts , they are outside and sometimes there are none in the cart area so you have to go to the parking lot to get one. The staff are professional, friendly and helpful . I also save on gas with my VIP card. Handicap parking and access. Restrooms are clean and orderly”

“Have not went in yet and had a bad experience. Have nothing negative to say about the current employees. Store is a bit clustered and things need to be pulled to the front of the shelves and items need to be put in the correct spot other than that, groovy.”

“As we were passing through Morehead to visit Atlantic Beach, we happened upon the Curb Market, and the whole family hopped out to check it out. This is a super cute little community market. Everyone was so friendly and kind, and everyone's prices on their homemade goods were very reasonable! We ended leaving with new art, a Christmas ornament, lots of baked goods (which didn't last long, everyone loved their treats) and more. There is also a very clean restroom! Thank you for a fun experience!”

“NEW OWNERS!!! Friendly staff and you can find almost all you're needs. ? Tobacco products, toilet paper, canned foods, Mexican food products... Yes they have tortillas, fishing bait, hooks, sinkers, ice, coolers,soda, beer, wine. Also a tobacco shop. Tell em Vanessa sent you ?”
“Nice store, The employees were on point and quite willing to explain the product. Every place else just tells you ( it *might* down blank # so and so row) only issue parking. There are only a handful.”

“The owner was very welcoming and helpful. We bought the vegan NC-style bbq which was the best we've ever tried. Nice selection of local produce and some tasty vegan desserts. A real find out here on the island. She also carries some vegan chick'n drumsticks.”
