“Stone Mountain General store is such a little jewel in this quaint little Bethel community. My kids grew up stopping in the store for all sorts of treats after a day at the park to include ice cream, chips and old fashioned coke in a glass bottle. Tommy and Lula are always fun to chat with and do a great job of hosting all the little old men in the community in their little lunch nook which is surrounded by old newspaper clippings featuring many who sit just below. The store is stocked with all the essentials to save you from a trip to Boone or Mountain City.”
“I love this Latin market where you can find hard to find items and the store owner will even order items if he can, upon request. He ordered fruit pulps for me which are part of my health protocol. While easily accessible at Latin Markets in SouthFlorida, impossible to find in this area of No Carolina until the discovery of Tienda San Judas Tadeo. This mercado latino is truly a rare find!”
