1625 NC-50, BensonVery pleased with my experience. We are traveling from Florida to Virginia on Christmas Eve and my dog was having a problem. We decided to pull off at this little Animal Hospital. We walked in and explained what was going on and found out that they closed an hour ago. They ended up taking us in anyways and fix the problem that we were having. The staff was super nice and I really appreciate everything they did for us. The location is great because it’s right off of the highway. I don’t know about the other prices, but our quick visit with the work that we had done was a good price. I really appreciate the staff here. I definitely recommend.

108 S Market St, BensonDelightful ice cream shop in downtown Benson. Super friendly and polite staff, amazing ice cream creations. I had the Swiss Roll Sundae and it was fantastic! The wife had a single scoop in a cone which was the biggest single scoop we've ever seen ! I love supporting good local businesses and this is one of them. They are deeply involved in the community and I highly recommend it!

111 S Railroad St, BensonDriving down 95 from Florida to Maryland. Kept seeing billboard signs for a gluten free pastry shop. I’ve been gf for over a decade and not all gf baked goods are created equal. But wanted to stop in for a treat and I was impressed. The main room is small but is packed full of good treats! The owner immediately came out and welcomed us. Offering to check the back to see if they had other things in stocked, annd giving recommendations on what to buy. Everything was clean and organized! There was another customer there who said he stops in every time he drives down the same route for his wife.
I got the Hawaiian rolls, an oatmeal cream cookie, carrot cake, and a cinnamon roll, which the owner heated up for me to have right away. It was delish!

12101-B NC-210, BensonThe Redneck BBQ Lab has been great every time I go and never disappoints. Friendly staff, quick service and food that is, as the trophies prove, tough to beat. Just off the interstate and with plenty of tables, including some picnic tables outside. Lots of the standard BBQ fare to choose from. There is quite a bit of parking, it is part of a gas station, but even going Saturday at lunch time the parking lot was nearly at capacity.
