I had such anxiety about finding a new groomer for our Wooly Malamute because between pricing and finding someone knowledgeable about the breed and maintaining the integrity of their double coat, I expected a challenge. Unfortunately, our previous groomer severely damaged her undercoat, so I was especially nervous about trusting someone new.
They called during the appointment to clarify exactly what we wanted trimmed rather than making assumptions, which I appreciated so much.
They did such an amazing job! Her coat looks, feels, and smells amazing, and the spooky holiday bows and bandana were such a cute touch. I literally squealed when I picked her up.
One of the owners even took the time to recommend supplements to help with the regrowth of her damaged undercoat. It's clear they genuinely care for the health of the dogs they're grooming, which is huge.
Fair prices and wonderful work. Will absolutely be returning ❤

When our boxer and I arrived, the front room staff were extremely polite and friendly. They immediately got us in a room and began the exam. The vet tech and the veterinarian were so kind, polite and made sure they understood my issues. They were so detailed in patiently explaining the process forward. I will always go back to their hospital in the future. Great experience!

However now with Halloween coming up, they’ve put what is considered “scary” pumpkin stickers up in their drive through windows. My daughter’s are 3 and 1 1/2 years old, and we’ll unfortunately have to skip out on scooters until Halloween is over and the stickers are brought down. I know they don’t seem scary to older kids , but to young children still learning real vs. pretend, Halloween can be a hard time finding places not leaning into the “scary” part of Halloween and just featuring the “fall” side of pumpkins /autumn decor. And unfortunately scooters has now become a place we can’t visit through this season.

That should tell you enough about why we go to Clayton and where it is we're going when we go. The food is never not good; the service is never not good, and on this unusually warm late November day we sat on the rooftop for the first time. Lovely. We'll be back. Don't know when. But we will.
