I couldn’t believe they had cow tails, pig snouts, cow ears, ox horns, etc. They have a large wall of toys, lots of dry and wet foods, and a bathing area that the sign said they offered I believe once a month for free. Their prices are also very good and reasonable! I was visiting out of state and picked up a handful of dried dog treats as my older dog LOVES pig/cow ears. Definitely a wonderful local business to check out whether you live in Raleigh or visiting!

The owners are knowledgeable and always happy to help with suggestions! Great store at the fairgrounds flea market, and it's always fun to stop by their booth at area events; I highly recommend!

She packed my shipment up immediately. It arrived three full days sooner than was projected.I wish I'd known the weight limit was 45 lbs on the medium size harnesses for my 75 lb dog, and it's something I normally would have caught but that's fine. Erin even helped me throw in an S-clip when I forgot it in the initial order.

From the beginning, when Bella was groomed by Keeley, she always made her feel loved and safe. Of course, over the many years Bella had her off days visiting Keeley, and yet she remained faithful and continued grooming Bella lovingly. Keeley knew Bella so very well, and she would give her advice, if she noticed Bella needed to see our veterinarian. Louie is VERY anxious about grooming, but she knows exactly how to handle him and I completely trust her with him. She does one dog at a time, so it’s never crowded or chaotic, she’s incredibly fast, and you can tell she genuinely cares about the animals. The picture I attached pretty much sums him up — fresh from the groomer, sitting on the couch in his bandana and Brazil glasses during the World Cup while simultaneously protesting the fact that they were put them on him😂
Louie comes home happy and like himself which I am so happy about.
The whole environment is just great—even Boots the cat casually hangs out with all the little dogs like he’s one of them, and somehow everybody is perfectly fine with it. 😂 Kimberly is also hilarious and just a great person. Louie and I definitely recommend her! ❤

Two different vets advised me to euthanize her due to her prolapsed anus, caused by parasites and they said that she was too young for surgery. After consulting with at least 4 veterinarians and three visits to an animal ER Hospital, only Dr Mashburn was able to identify and diagnose correctly the illness that my Loulou has and proceed with an assertive treatment that is helping her live a more comfortable and healthy life. Dr Emily Mashburn has sharp observational skills, listens very attentively, has strong medical knowledge of every medical issue and has the ability to explain in detail the labs, conditions and treatments very clearly and accurately. I consider Dr Mashburn reliable, patient, sweet, gentle and compassionate. I have a lot of respect for her. Dr Mashburn’s assistants are wonderful too. They have shown endless patience and a gentle approach with nervous hurting chihuahuas like my Loulou. Love this clinic and everyone working in it.

Animal Emergency Hospital & Urgent Care
409 Vick Avenue, RaleighMy anxious pup, Charlie, got into the trash and needed to have vomiting induced. He hates the vet and is very fearful. My man Michael understood this and was super gentle our entire visit. If he saw Charlie getting stressed or overwhelmed, he would immediately back up and give him space.
Also, in the four years I’ve had Charlie, no vet tech has ever been able to successfully induce vomiting with an injection. Michael did it on the FIRST try! He is phenomenal and truly a pro.

We have older dogs that did not go through formal training and the difference is remarkable. The older dogs are blasé about commands, but the younger dog listens very well and gets better each time I work with her. It’s completely changed my attitude towards training in general and any future pups must have formal training. This is now non-negotiable in our house.

This was my first time leaving my puppies with sitters that were not a family member, so naturally I was a little anxious. Especially with a 4 month old puppy! However, as soon as Kato and her sitters walked into my house for our consultation to meet the puppies and get the lay of the land, any anxieties I had were instantly lifted. Kato is so incredibly organized and does not go anywhere without her checklist! She ensures that all of the bases are covered so that in any situation, the sitters will know exactly what to do and how to do it as it relates to your puppies.
And the sitters—WOW! Cayla, Sue, and Selina are the sweetest, most thoughtful caretakers, and were so dedicated to making sure my puppies were safe, happy, and comfortable. They each left detailed messages after every single one of their visits including meal times, potty breaks, and what they got up to with the puppies! And so many pictures! One of my favorite parts of my days while traveling was receiving their messages and smiling and laughing at the adorable pictures they sent of my puppies. Kato also stopped by for some midday visits and even brought puzzles and fun toys for the puppies to play with for extra stimulation!
The whole team is undeniably dedicated to ensuring not only you have a 5 star experience, but your dogs do as well. I like to think my puppies had a little vacation of their own!
To top it all off, I came home to a gift bag for my puppies sitting on the kitchen island with treats and toys inside, and handwritten notes from Kato, Sue, Selina, and Cayla welcoming us home.
I cannot recommend Bone-a-Fide enough! Your pet’s care is Kato and her team’s top priority. If you want stress free, top tier care for your pets with a personal touch, Bone-a-Fide is absolutely the best option for you. I will, without a doubt, use Bone-a-Fide again for all of my travel needs!

I'm always a little worried about leaving my two rabbits behind when I'm out of town, especially because one of my rabbits often needs to take medication, but Melissa and her team have always done such a great job giving me peace of mind by sending pictures and updates on the regular. They've always been incredibly flexible and accommodating to me and my schedule, and they just exude dedication. In fact, one time I hired All Critters Care to look after my rabbits while I was visiting family, and Melissa got into an accident and cracked a couple ribs, but she still went to my apartment to make sure my rabbit got her meds that night. I absolutely would have understood if she couldn't make it or had to have someone else come in, but she wanted to ensure that my rabbits weren't made nervous by a stranger, so she went in to care for them personally. I can't express enough how much I appreciate All Critters Care and the work they do, and I'm proud to be a customer of this lovely small business

He’s so well trained, sleeps through the night, has had 0 accidents and just follows me around everywhere I go. Not to mention that my kids are absolutely obsessed with him.
