“I frequent the dollar general often. I pay my phone bill there, do some minor shopping and in a pinch buy motor oil or car care products. Prices are comparable to Walmart but it always seems like the shelves are never stocked. They need better help and it would be a great store”

“Very good i would come to this dollar general more often but sadly I live in Alabama. It was clean and had a wide variety of foods. I found a peanut butter and jelly jar that was swirly and tasted delicious. I would recommend it if you are in a pinch and need food for a low price and high qualify.”

“This dollar general SAVED me. I had been traveling back from a ministry event and my car broke down in their parking lot. I live over an hour away from here and my phone was gunna die before I could even call for help. I came walking into the building with tears running down my face, my phone dead. One of the wonderful ladies who worked here came right to me, let me use her charger, and I had no money so she bought me a drink. She let me walk around the store to calm down and call my dad while it poured down rain outside. I would have been lost without her in a place I’ve never been before. Thank you Dollar General for hiring such beautiful people I hope she is having a blessed day.”
“Great short stop for history. Last remaining structure of this truss type. One of only two remaining covered bridges in NC. Short, easy hike.
I would advocate for a better viewing opportunity for pictures, and that folks would stop defacing the Interior of the structure with graffiti.”

“Went in today and was greeted by a young gentleman. He greeted all the customers entering. Being the only person there, he made sure every person was acknowledged. I purchased a half dozen of plates and bowls and he made sure to take the time to wrap each one. Another young man came in, a new employee, and he asked if he had begun his training. The new employee answered no and said he was immediately put to work. The young gentleman seemed a little upset by this. It seems he understands the concept that you have to invest and train your employees. You have to put time into them in order for them to be the best they can be. I don’t know what the young man’s name was—but Dollar General did something amazing when they got him. Amazing service and hands on with his associates.”
