The openness and atmosphere of positivity enhances the quality of the workout and I always leave feeling more energized than at the start of class (except for maybe cardio boxing - I was tired after that one :-) ). “My wife and I just did the private fundamentals trainings and our first normal group class here. Owner/Trainer Morgan was awesome to work with. We also spoke briefly with another trainer, Kelsey. Both of them (and the community in general) were great about making beginners feel welcome and helping to scale lifts/exercises to your current abilities. This was great for us coming in with little experience. I highly recommend CrossFit Chapel Hill!”

“I’ve been going to Burn 4-5x per week for the last three weeks and I’m hooked! The workouts push you in all of the right ways, I feel so accomplished afterwards and really appreciate the community aspect of the classes. I felt like I was complacent with my workouts at home before joining Burn, and I can already see some body composition changes after only a few consistent weeks. “TFL was an amazing gym while I was there. I was nervous to start BJJ as a woman, but Tim and Chris make the fundamentals class so fun and it’s super inclusive. Even in the group classes it can feel tailored to you and they go around making sure you understand the fundamentals. Privates for BJJ and for regular PT wish Chris were great. The only reason I left was because I moved!”

“Very warm and welcoming studio, for women of all ages, sizes and levels of fitness. All you need is a love of music, and the rest is easy. Instructors are kind, funny and upbeat . Both aerobic and strength classes offered seven days a week. I have been doing Jazzercise for 20 years and never get tired of it because the music and routines are constantly changing.”

“In general, all the staff are welcoming and informative. Specifically, Mike and Valerie are very helpful in getting one initially set up at O2 and assist in selection of a trainer. Jabari is exceptionally good as a trainer. He is extremely thoughtful in designing an individualized workout program that takes into account goals as well as limitations. He explains movements and exercises very well, and he is positive and well organized.”

“Daily regular user for the past 6 months. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Place is usually relatively clean and atmosphere is always positive, although it can get busy at times. Only gripe is that the machines are older and some require regular maintenance.i.e. stairmaster. Many of the cycling trainers definitely need some repairs as the cranks make clicking sounds or rotate misaligned. Wish they the fancy peloton ones as the Durham location.”

“We evacuated from Asheville due to Hurricane Helene, and when we went to Gold’s Gym for a day pass, they surprised us with a free week! It was completely unexpected, and we were so appreciative. Exercise is a big part of our mental healthcare, and the sense of normalcy was so needed during that stressful time. The gym was very clean, well-equipped, and every staff member we met was friendly and helpful. 10/10 would highly recommend this gym!”
