“I love this property. Great location for UNC events, dog friendly, it sets the bar high for standard hotel continental breakfast, great outdoor seating spaces and a pool. Gym is tiny though. My only temporary advice for May-June 2026, maybe longer, DO NOT stay in first floor rooms 105-130 wing, can't speak for the other 1st floor wings. I don't know what happened at the property but all of these rooms smell like must/moth balls. All of my luggage and clothes came home smelling and everything had to be washed. I could have switched rooms but wanted to be on level 1 and the odor was tolerable for 3 nights. My friend was on the 3rd floor and no issue with her room.”

“Stayed one short night for a work trip. The next morning started early, and I forgot to pack my electric toothbrush before checking out. When I realized right before heading to the airport that afternoon, I called Graduate. Thankfully David answered quickly, and he and the team were able to find my toothbrush! My uber swung by on the way to the airport, and David met us outside.
The hotel itself was beautifully decorated and in a convenient location, but the incredible dedication to customer service I experienced in the toothbrush rescue really cemented the five-star status for me!”
“Close enough to UNC Chapel Hill. There should be free parking at this hotel but they charge a fee. Rooms are tidy. The lobby is clean and plenty of space to get work done.”
“Travis, the chef is incredible. Their food has really stepped it up and the ribeye is the best thing I’ve ever had. Also, Jessica down at the bar is wonderful and so cheerful and sweet. She always remembers what I like and takes care of me every morning when I’m here. One of the reasons I keep coming. Shannon, the general manager posted an incredible bingo night tonight with food and appetizers and I won 5000 points because I got a bingo. It was so much fun every Wednesday night at 5:30.”
“Highly convenient location near food and UNC campus. Ultra modern, minimalist, sufficient accommodations with the best hospitality staff I have ever encountered. Very nice beds. My only problem was that the ♿ shower cannot accommodate a wheelchair. We stay here because of the pet friendly policy, but Springhill Suites not far from here has much better fully accessible showers. The road is LOUD but just turn the A/C fan to ON or play white noise on your phone. No free breakfast, just pack your granola/protein bars. Complimentary coffee in the morning. Happy trails!”

“One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at, and I’ve stayed in thousands. Exceptionally clean, albeit small rooms. Super unique and charming. The bed is comfortable and has 3 separate sheets and a comforter. The location is amazing and the exterior is like something out of a movie.
I’d choose this hotel 10/10 times here. Yes the AC Hotel is newer and has bigger rooms. But this hotel has way more charm and is exceptionally clean which I find to be the highest mark of any hotel.”
