“Located on the Plaza between two great neighborhoods; Plaza Midwood and NoDa, the service and convenience is fantastic!My 2001, Dodge Durango had been in need of a its 3rd muffler and exhaust pipe. Salted roads from winters in Asheville and Charlotte had left me to literally Frankenstein the exhaust pipe together where it had separated from the muffler. Great DIY job, but definitely not a long term solution.I came across Romo when walking to downtown NoDo and read a handful of reviews. I stopped in to simply get a quote and he was able to immediately help me.Exhaust replacements in my experience often require welding which takes time and with more people holding onto their cars longer, muffler shops can often be backed up.Romo is a great guy when you meet him, seems to enjoy chatting with his customers and did a great job getting my muffler part quickly and welding it up.The Dodge sounds mean and throaty again, love it!”

“I popped my tire on the passenger's side at a curb close to Giffins brimstone tire shop. At the corner of little Rock rd and Tuckassgee. I parked the car in the Food lion parking lot behind the subway and walk to their shop.A gentleman name John listen to what I needed. But my car was parked in the lot but not at their shop. He suggested I drive the car slowly over and park it next to his car in front of Giffins. John looked tired and here I arrive close to end of the day with more work for the shop. He didn't ever mention to me about closing shop, or come back Monday. Instead he had me wait and a mechanic will look at the damage. During that hour John was working with customer and I noticed more that he might not be feeling to good. So I asked him. He said he had been in the hospital a week or so ago. But today he still hasn't gotten better. Wow, he gets alot of kudos for being kind when serving his customers while feeling sick. Mi hope he gets better soon because he is a valuable employee at their shop.......AnywayLong story short. The rim was fixable and a new tire was put on. John kept me up to date on the progress of the work and options to fix the wheel during my time at the Giffin shop.After paying for the work he informed me the car needs a new wheel and be careful driving home because the wheel will cause the tire to wobble. I will still need to come back on Monday for a new wheel. They offered to bring me to work and pick me up from work at 1pm. I work down the street. I'm grateful for their customer service. Thank you John and Joe who was hammering out my wheel damage. You did a miracle. Both of you.Thank you Giffin.”

“VERY PROFESSIONAL. WENT TO GET AIR IN MY TIRE. TURNS OUT THAT I HAD A NAIL THAT CAUSED A SLOW LEAK. “I was traveling from the east coast of NC to Charlotte about 5 years ago. I had an issue with one of my tires about 1 1/2 hours into my 4 hr trip. Anyways, I had a minivan and I could not physically change the tire. I decided to drive as far as I could. When I made it to Charlotte, I found this shop which happened to be the closest to my mother's home. I was greeted as if I had been there a thousand times. The mechanic told me it was a miracle I made it that far on the tire. While he was changing the tire, I told the guy that when I left from his shop, I was going to be on my way to take my daughter to an AAU basketball tournament in Atlanta. Another gentleman overheard me and told me that he was taking care of my bill. I was blessed going in and blessed going out.”
