“A rare exceptionally good experience with this auto mechanic. Starting with booking the work over the phone with Greg Corey, it was clear that he and his guys are top notch. Greg provided a quick quote for my Ram 1500 and my girlfriend's Honda Accord, got me a convenient time slot on the weekend with only a couple days notice, and confirmed that he had all required parts in inventory to do the jobs. After doing the work, Greg brought me back into the shop to take a look at the removed oil pan on my Ram, so I could assess with my own eyes the degree of wear and tear based on metallic content in the pan. Some people might not be into that kinda thing, you might just want the job done quick and be on your way, in which case this place is still excellent and trustworthy. But personally I very much appreciate when a mechanic brings me in to talk technical details ... it confirms they know what theyre doing and not trying to upsell on unnecessary services. Greg owns the business and his father and (i think) grandfather also ran transmission shops. He was built for this and it's easy to tell. Excellent shop. I will be back for any future transmission work, no doubt about that.”
“Best experience I’ve ever had for car repair. Incredible customer service from the start - they went out of their way to explain everything and worked with me when I needed to prioritize what repairs to do now and what could wait (for now)! Then, when I called them 15 minutes before closing on a Friday to schedule the work, they were still somehow able to get all the parts I needed AND get me in first thing the next morning (yes, a Saturday!) - and they had me out the door by 11:30! Great pricing too! And of course just wonderful people! Never going anywhere else again. Thank you Precision Automotive!”
“Jason and Clint run a great shop. Took my car in with an unknown issues and they didn’t charge me anything until they knew what it was. While they weren’t able to fix the problem themselves they kept me updated every step of the way and were very upfront with me on their opinions on what I should do based on my situation.
I also had some other work done by them and have no complaints - competitive prices and no complaints to report. Thanks guys, will definitely be back with any future issues.”

“I went to AAMCO because my car needed an alternator; something was killing my battery. After running tests to identify the issue, Jon confirmed that the alternator was the problem. After I was quoted a lower price for the alternator and labor than I normally pay at my maintenance shop, I agreed to have them install the alternator. When I picked up my vehicle, there were no surprise charges. I was very pleased with the service that was provided.”

“I moved to Charlotte a year ago and found Geoff online within the first month. I was looking for an excellent mechanic who didn't price gouge and who didn't do unnecessary work. I read the online reviews and went to see Geoff. Simply put, Geoff is a car whisper. He has an uncanny intuitive sense of what is wrong with a car and he'll find a way to fix it at as affordable price as possible. For instance, I had spent 18 months with the shop I used in Florida trying to find out what was wrong with the a/c and some of the best mechanics I had used up to that point couldn't figure it out. Geoff immediately intuited the problem after running a few tests. That savvy approach to repair will save you money and grief. “I'm always skeptical going to a new place as I have been ripped off more than once, but this shop was like a breath of fresh air. Throughout the whole process they were totally honest with me about what was going on with my car, they never tried to overcharge me or sell me on things I didn't need. I don't know a thing about cars and usually that translates into shops taking advantage of me and wasting my money, but Tryon auto care has integrity. It's such a relief to finally have a shop that I know will be honest with me and upfront about pricing, and that isn't just trying to tell me something. “Martin is the best mechanic I’ve found in Charlotte! I had my ac compressor go bad and he fixed it for a low price. I was originally quoted about $1600-$2000 from other mechanics. And Martin offered me $1200! The nice lady at the front desk always is great too! Somehow the part he initially ordered was bad for some reason, but he swapped it out with a brand new part, replaced the fluids, and put a belt on -with no extra charges! The warranty is included for a year as well. Definitely going back if I have any other issues with my car! Lowest price for mechanical maintenance! Thanks Again!”

“This is by far the best mechanic I have ever been to. Moving from rural East Tennessee to Charlotte and being a single mother of infant twins when your car has problems can be scary. Mechanics often times overcharge in big cities and especially a woman who knows nothing about cars. I stopped by one day and they were willing to help me even though they were already swamped. They fixed my car like new at a price that I couldn't have been happier with. Today I brought a new car to them to check out before I bought it and once again they were accommodating, friendly, and went above and beyond. THANK YOU SO MUCH! “10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Just in case you decide to not stay and read the rest of the review, I started it off with the point! Castro was extremely professional from the beginning to finish. I started working with them on February 2026 and while State Farm consistently lied and gave me the runaround I can honestly say that Castro automotive was 100% upfront and honest the whole step of the way! Despite my attitude and the way I handled several situations they remained professional and took care of my car going over and beyond!!
