“These folks work so hard! Especially: Shelby, Caitrin, Chance, Rachael and Ian I believe his name is. These people have been through it during the flood and walmart closing. They’ve truly stepped up and have done great things for the community.”
“I love visiting this spot!! They have the best selection of local everything!! The brothers that own and operate this place are the friendliest folks and are ready to answer any questions you may have about their products. I always have them pick my tomatoes cukes peaches or whatever seasonal local produce I'm picking up. The wife of one of the brothers makes the BEST sourdough loafs AND cinnamon loafs! Not to mention her fried fruit pies and seasonal loafs.? Oh yeah can't forget the hoop cheese and boiled peanuts. Seriously, the owners are just super friendly and show their appreciation for your business through their welcoming and grateful spirit ? This little place holds a lot of nostalgia my family. I will always choose Greens ?”
“I LOVED this store!!!! Purchased groceries, gifts, and orchids that have bloomed and bloomed. I wish we had this store in Raleigh. I like this store more than Wegmans or Publix.”
“Go to grocery store in the High Country!!! They gave a water and ice for free during the hurricane Helene while other places were charging!!! Well done Harris Teeter!!!”
“This is an old-fashioned, down-home, well stocked convenience store with gas station, ice, propane switch out tanks, and everything else under the sun, along with the friendliest staff you'll ever meet!”
“We had a great time in Boone area. The local produce is wonderful. Got some heirloom tomatoes and a sugar baby watermelon. Man are they good. And you can get fresh mountain wildflower honey sticks too. Mmmmm. Had a blast looking around. Great job guys. Have a blessed day.”
“After taking a walk with my son on the Greenway, I mentioned that I had been wanting to check out this market for some time, so we stopped in. We live near Charlotte so we were only in Boone for a few days and
I introduced myself. I’m a Top Local Guide on Google. I recently reached 250 million views which I was excited to share. It takes years of writing and reviewing to get to this level of views.
That said, I truly enjoy supporting local businesses and hope the owner sees this review.
I took as many photos as possible to give others a look at what the market offers.
It’s always nice to discover & share about locally-owned businesses. I do hope future visits from guides, like myself that inspire curiosity, brings a warmer welcome.
Happy Exploring!

“The manager is very nice and offered to stock specific foods that they don't carry. Not a top tier grocery store, but I am surprised by options they do have.”
“I have been using this facility since August 2022 and it is a very clean facility. Staff and owners are very nice and easy to reach if needed. On-line communications and payment options are easy to set up. Access to storage units is easy. Very pleased!!”
“It is well known that a Dollar General will likely have anything you might need to grab. This location is absolutely the best we have ever been in! We have shopped at quite a few. This location is always clean, always stocked, no clutter around the aisles you have to navigate around. The merchandise is arranged so well! The seasonal items look great the way they are displayed. We are very thankful that somebody puts effort and care into making this store more than just a place to grab that last minute item, or even full out shopping that might be needed.”
“I have been a customer of Ingles pharmacy for over 10 years and I never had any problems, also when you have the little card every time you buy prescriptions you get points and you get discounts when you purchase gas I've had as much as 15 cents off per gallon”
“While it's not exactly the rarest thing in the world (me submitting reviews) it's also not the most common thing, for me, either.
So, I'm that guy (love me or hate me) that solely leaves reviews for one of two reasons. Either, I've encountered something &/or someone so impressively awful, that it warrants one. Or, on the contrary, I encountered something &/or someone, that impressed me to the point of feeling compelled to do one. The latter of which, is the case, today. So, Daniel,.at this location should definitely be commended. Although just a super basic exchange of words, it was blatantly apparent that he's definitely a cut above the average good employee. Super positive, friendly, welcoming energy about him. Very well mannered and was very polite, friendly and helpful. I don't want to make him too terribly uncomfortable (if he were to read this) but it must be stated, he's certainly an asset. I imagine anyone else working there, with even just even the slightest ability to gauge such things, are most likely already fully aware.
I know that may come across as strange, being that I just had a couple super brief encounters with him, but I've always been a solid judge of character.. Well, and of course, just my common sense & basic observation of him, interacting with other customers, as well. Yep, a gem of an employee, for sure. Was a pleasure meeting you, good sir (in case he does read it) and to the higher ups at DG, I've worked in retail & those are for sure the type you hope to luck up and hire. Give him a raise/hang onto him lol”
“Amazing staff and store always clean always friendly and warm and welcoming I'd rather shop here than anywhere to be honest other places just don't have the heart.”
