“Excellent selection of great quality furniture. My boyfriend and I found a perfect, comfortable sectional and solid wood side table for our home. Though the sectional likely has some good years of use, it looked well maintained and exactly worth the price we paid at Classic Treasures. The fabric is in great condition, the most we “need” to do is run our upholstery cleaner on it for personal sake. Blake clearly shows care in how he curates the store. We’re so happy to find appropriately-price, high quality staples for our home that we can continue to take care of for years to come.”

“My wife and I fell in love with this amazing little shop. It may look small, but there is a lot to see! We had to make multiple “laps” around the store because we kept noticing items we had missed. Everything is hand crafted by local artisans, and the prices are reasonable. Karen took great care of us and explained several of the pieces, including her own glass artwork. Don’t miss this gem if you’re in downtown Durham!”
“Nomadic Trading Company has always been one of my favorite stops when I'm around the DIY (warehouse) district. With an eclectic collection of household furniture and decorations from Europe (primarily Hungry and Turkey), Mexico and even Africa (Morocco), they are an incredibly authentic and unique spot in downtown Durham. The hours vary, as the owners travel to multiple trade shows all over the US, but you can find them open on most weekends. The shop reminds me of a less manicured West Elm, with incredible benches, pillows, runs, hanging lights and an assortment of jugs, bottles and baskets. You'll feel like you're entering the Turkish bazaar and I highly recommend trying your hand at negotiations here. Steep prices are really the only downside, but they DO negotiate on items and constantly have sales as they're always trying to move inventory. The space has expanded in the past year into the warehouse parallel to their original space, but the actualy space needs some work, don't be surprised if you can some water droplets leaking on you from (hopefully) the ceiling. Definitely worth a stop if you appreciate beautifully crafted pieces or want a truly original piece in your home.”

“I came in close to closing time expecting rushed service, but the staff still walked me through different bookshelf options. Ended up choosing a compact one for my study room and assembly was easier than expected. Small thing, but they packed the screws separately and labeled them clearly.”
“I’ve visited this World Market multiple times, and Alyssa at the register is always so kind and welcoming. She’s very talkative in the best way and makes customers feel comfortable and appreciated. She helped me sign up for the rewards program, and every time I’m there I hear her consistently encouraging customers to sign up for the awards points too. You can tell she really cares about her job and gives great customer service.
This location is always clean, organized, and nicely presented. I love shopping here because there are so many cute finds every time I visit. Keep shining, Alyssa!”

“Went in to look at curtains and the staff couldn't have been more helpful despite the fact that they were waiting on other customers. The young lady provided me with a fabric sample and told me there were several different styles available in that fabric. Went home, ordered curtains and sheets and received them five days later in perfect condition. The quality of the fabric is very good for the price. And excellent customer service!”
