“Love Home Goods! Hate the crowds but the store is great which is why it's crowded all the time. This one is a great shopping center close to Target, Michael's, Kirkland's and some food places. The store can feel cluttered but has great selection. I always go here for olive oil or salt and pepper because it is always cheaper here than in the store. I also love the teas they have. Nice furniture options too, but can be pricey compared to At Home. The staff is always nice and the lines are long but never take forever to get through.”

Staff were welcoming and answered ALL of my questions about a zillion plants until I narrowed down my choice. “We were shopping for a dresser for our new house. We looked at several used furniture stores and found possibilities, but we weren't enthusiastic. We found a dresser at Classic Treasures that checked all the boxes, including not costing a whole lot. We talked to Blake (owner?) who was very helpful and agreed we could buy it over the phone after we had thought about it a bit. So that's what we did--paid by credit card over the phone and returned the next day to bring it home. Our daughter bought a beautiful dining room table there years ago, they are still using it. Classic Treasures has a great selection of nice things in good condition, and lots of unusual pieces. I recommend it if you're looking for something specific, as we were, or if you're just browsing.”

“Nomadic Trading Company has always been one of my favorite stops when I'm around the DIY (warehouse) district. With an eclectic collection of household furniture and decorations from Europe (primarily Hungry and Turkey), Mexico and even Africa (Morocco), they are an incredibly authentic and unique spot in downtown Durham. The hours vary, as the owners travel to multiple trade shows all over the US, but you can find them open on most weekends. The shop reminds me of a less manicured West Elm, with incredible benches, pillows, runs, hanging lights and an assortment of jugs, bottles and baskets. You'll feel like you're entering the Turkish bazaar and I highly recommend trying your hand at negotiations here. Steep prices are really the only downside, but they DO negotiate on items and constantly have sales as they're always trying to move inventory. The space has expanded in the past year into the warehouse parallel to their original space, but the actualy space needs some work, don't be surprised if you can some water droplets leaking on you from (hopefully) the ceiling. Definitely worth a stop if you appreciate beautifully crafted pieces or want a truly original piece in your home.”

The staff told the sofa and ottoman were in stock when we purchased in July 2021 and we should get them in October 2021! And now your company keeps postponing the delivery dates without informing us!”

They have a great selection for different age groups but I do wish there was more in stock accessories. I have heard of negative situations when it comes to furniture delivery but when we ordered a bunk bed from them, we were pleasantly surprised with the delivery time and set up. Overall, great in store customer service and I've only had positive experiences with customer service through online support.”

“Last Saturday, I visited the store to check some dining tables at this location and I had the pleasure to be attended by Charlotte (Head designer of the store) and her service was exceptional, she was very attentive, knowledgeable and in general it was wonderful to talk to her, also she is bilingual and that make my wife and me feel more comfortable when we asked everything about the their beautiful dining tables.
