“I was very pleasantly surprised by the Dollar General near 3000 Emerald Drive, Emerald Isle, NC. Ill admit i was expecting more of a Dollar Store vibe than a General Store vibe but, while its a bit of both, its definitely more General than Dollar. They had great looking fresh fruit, un-scary dairy, frozen foods, beer, wine, sodas, etc. plus many general store items. All items were reasonably priced, particularly for a beach town. I had no idea. But now I do.”

“Clean and well stocked. Fresh fruit and veggies were great. Bakery is excellent. Got a gluten-free chocolate torte for my younger sister's retirement party, and it was delicious! Nice people. Had a prescription to fill. They sent me a notification that it was ready.
Publix was great. Worth every penny!
*Back again for another holiday. People at Publix had all of the items to get us started on our family reunion. Publix never disappoints us and, as always, the store was clean and everyone was friendly and helpful. The deli prepared a sandwich that would easily feed two people for a very reasonable price.
