“I just closed my second mortgage with SECU. I love working with them (and no this is NOT a paid or fake review). This time was especially awesome because of Jamie at the Cox Rd branch in Gastonia, NC. Jamie was SUPER patient and consistent with the entire process. Any questions, any concerns (and I know I can be high maintenance) Jamie responded via email right away! Get this, she’d even PICK UP THE PHONE AND CALL when she needed a piece of information. That’s SUCH a big deal for me as most try to avoid making phone calls to their clients. It really showed me her dedication. I had a preapproval letter within hours. We also went under contract with one home, but found a better and cheaper home which resulted in terminating one contract and entering another. Jamie said “no problem…that’s easy. Just send me the new contract and I’ll take care of everything for you.” It was done in 2 days. She gave me my direct contact with underwriting and continued to check on me through that process (as it can be stressful). She made sure all went smoothly. Jamie is AWESOME! If you want a solid broker who knows what’s she’s doing and QUICK, USE JAMIE!”

“My first time visiting Sharonview Credit Union in Gastonia, NC today. I was warmly greeted by a nice young lady, sorry I didn’t get her name. While I waited very briefly for my appointment with the MER, Cyrus Roberts. I was warmly greeted by another young woman while passing by. Cyrus was awesome! He was patient and didn’t rush me. He managed my affairs well, understanding my needs and suggested products that would benefit me. Overall, my experience was exactly the 5 stars I gave on this review.”

“The people who work at this bank are excellent to deal with, this branch specifically is very impressive. I drove to the 2 other locations to cash a check that came from their bank & received no help or guidance to how to move forward until I finally drove to this location. It felt like such a completely different establishment. I applaud this bank in this location & strongly suggest avoiding the other two locations (Main Street & the Shelby location) they waste your time & enjoy the power the get from being as unhelpful as possible.Save your time, gas & just stick with this location when dealing with Alliance Bank & Trust!”

“I’ve had my Chase account for about a year now. I signed up online during there $200 sign up promotion. After my first direct deposit from my job the bank released the $200 to my account. I thought that was a cool perk to get paid just for opening a checking account. A few weeks ago I went through a day during the week to add my wife to my account. Although they were busy and close to closing they set us an appointment to come in on Saturday and they would get us situated. I think that’s also a cool perk that they are open for a little bit on Saturdays. Anyway we were greeted upon arrival and the lady that assisted us was so friendly as well as knowledgeable. I see unsatisfied reviews but for me they’ve been great thus far. I’ve definitely been recommending to family and friends!”

“I went to the branch on Garrison Blvd and after 15 minutes of being ignored I left and drove to the downtown branch. I was immediately greeted but they had no employee who could help me and was told I would need an appointment. I asked the employee if she could recommend a new bank for me, no response. I then drove to the Cox Road branch and was immediately greeted by a very helpful and friendly employee. I went to his desk and within 5 minutes my questions and concerns were addressed and Wells Fargo didn't lose a customer of 35 years. Unfortunately I didn't get his name but he's from France. Thanks to Wells Fargo for having at least one competent employee.”

Nice chat to explain my situation and we explored my options. I chose one, completed online at his desk. Approval came late same day. Revisited on May 9 for physical paperwork, issue completed to my total satisfaction.”
