“I was on my way to Charlotte when my car started making a funny noise. I exited the highway in Gastonia and did a quick Google search for a mechanic. I came across Affordable Auto Repair and called to explain my situation. I was told that the mechanics were out to lunch but I could come over and wait for them to get back. I arrived 10 minutes later and the nice man I talked to on the phone was in the middle of eating his lunch, but stopped to take a look at my car. Luckily it was a quick fix and I was able to get on my way with only the cost of the parts. I made it safely to Charlotte to see my family and I'm very grateful for the kindness of Affordable Auto Repair!”

“These people are fast, very reasonable and honest. I didn’t know about them so I took my tire that was already off vehicle to 2 other places to have plugged. One said they don’t plug they patch and it wld take 2 hours. The other, Mr tire said they can’t plug because of where the screw was. (it was on a slant) and said I needed 4 new tires. I don’t run may pops on my car. I know tread depths and I am so grateful my grandson knew of this place. They have my business from now on. Plugged and back on car in less than 10 minutes.”

“Having tires mounted on 22.5 polished aluminum rims can be done with out scratching the clear coat. All that would be needed is a moving blanket to lay the rims on when removing and mounting the tires. The Gastonia location did use some cardboard but that didn't prevent the scratches. I was able to minimize them but not completely. I let Matthew the manger know my recommendation. Other then that the crew did a great job. If rims didn't get scratched I would have given 5 star review.”

“Order for 6 new Toyo tires for my Class A very promptly handled by Cobie at the Gastonia, NC, location. After installation of tires, vibration when motorhome driven and 2 of the tires turned out to be significantly out of spec (out of round) and so not able to be balanced. Tires removed and replaced (with another brand) and defective Toyo tires picked up by Snider, returned to their supplier and, after a rather protracted period, credit given (provided by Snider before they received credit from their supplier, which was considerate of them). Would happily purchase from Snider again, although not the Toyo brand of tire.”

“Develon was terrific she knows her stuff fast friendly and gave me a heads up about only having one mechanic on duty after 5:00 pm. So I still wanted the tires mounted and balanced and a wheel alignment it would be best to get there asap. Great team work. I have to make an appointment tires are loosing air. Probably the stems are bad. Which can happen.”

We stopped at Randy Marion's Quick Service and they discovered a nail puncture. We were back on the road very quickly. “Appointment was set for 8am and they saw me exactly at 8am. 4 new tires and the service guy was done in record timing of 24 minutes. Impressed to say the least. Although my tires aren’t pressurized evenly I am thankful for the speed of service.”

“What do you say about excellent customer service when you’re not even a customer! Amazing. I just pulled out of the DMV at Eastridge Mall. so of course everyone knows how frazzled that leaves you. 😩 I thought I could transfer an existing tag but had to get a new one. Ugh! No screwdriver. That meant going all the way home to change the tag and BACK to the DMV to turn the old one in. I spotted the Firestone on the hill and pulled up to ask if I could borrow a screwdriver. Jason suggested I just pull around to the bay. He hopped up and installs the new plate for me. Wow!! Sometimes we get jaded about customer service and then there’s something like this experience. I know where I will go for tires next time.”
