Plum Pucci Salon Pet Grooming (Graham)
125 E Elm St, GrahamI’ve been bringing my dogs to Joy since 2019, and I can say without hesitation that she is the most compassionate and professional groomer I’ve ever encountered.
When I first came to her, I had an older Yorkie named Bella who had been through quite a bit at other grooming salons. Joy was the first groomer to truly earn Bella’s trust, and their final groom together ended up being the best one Bella ever had a memory I will always cherish.
Now, I bring my Mini Poodle, Pickles, and the experience has been nothing short of magical. Joy somehow takes my wildest, most creative grooming ideas and brings them to life every time Pickles comes out looking like she stepped straight out of Paris! Not only is Joy incredibly talented and imaginative, she’s also patient and grounded in what truly matters: the well-being of the dog.
In an industry where I’ve seen too many groomers prioritize a finished look over a pet’s emotional or physical state, Joy stands out with her honesty and compassion. If something isn’t possible for your pet that day, she’ll say so and then work with you to get there the right way.
Joy is a rare find, and I’m so grateful to have her as Pickles’ groomer. I wouldn’t trust anyone else.

Pet Sitting & Training

No Barking Back, LLC
1801 Haw Village Dr, GrahamBoarding….one of the most concerning things for a dog owner. (ie: checking your kid into a facility for safekeeping while you go do something somewhere that you can’t take said kid)…it can be nerve wracking in a bad way, sometimes justified unfortunately. NOT the case with No Barking Back. Reaba and Michael are professional dog people, and pretty darn professional dog owner people as well! My experience boarding our lab was as good as it gets. They’re dog people, AND professional dog owner people people; they get it and know how to keep dog owners accommodated, informed, and relaxed. That’s huge imo. They take great care of the dog AND the dog owner…no small task. They are professional dog people, and it shows. HIGHLY recommend.

Haw River Farmhouse Ales
1713 Saxapahaw-Bethlehem Church Rd, GrahamStopped into Eddy’s for dinner and heard great things about the brewery downstairs. Stopped and was pleasantly surprised by not only superb brews but even better staff. The rustic atmosphere was cozy and inviting. Smaller indoor tap room but exterior patio for sprawling. Really enjoyed the speciality beers and different takes on ales of the area. Will certainly return when in the area! Cheers!

The Commissary by Charlie Mike
16 NE Court Square, GrahamEvery time I come into town from Atlanta, one of the first stops I make is the commissary for their Puerto Rican coffee. It’s become a little tradition for me. The flavor is rich and smooth, with just the right kick to get me moving, but never bitter. There’s something about it that just feels comforting and familiar. It’s honestly one of those small things I look forward to on every trip, and it never disappoints. If you haven’t tried it yet, you’re missing out on some of the best coffee around.

Press Coffee+Crepes
133 N Main St, GrahamTraveling from CT, it's always a mission to pick quality places to eat and stay away from what's easy with big boxes. I gave my 8 year old sone a few choices, and he decided this was the place. So very glad he did. Jackie was our server and she was great. Super friendly, and for us northerners, she had the perfect NC accent and vibe! The food was fun and delicious. We each had a different crepe. the atmosphere was classy but not overdone. I wish we had one of these in my neck of the woods.

Smokehouse at Steve's
331 W Harden St, GrahamThis place never disappoints. Day or night I haven’t ordered anything I didn’t at least want to finish. The portions are generous and everything is delicious. We happily drive from the Wake Forest area to eat here.
If I had any concern it’s that the food could be hotter when served or the restaurant could be a little warmer. The food is cool very quickly. It won’t stop us from visiting and by the way, the butcher section of the grocery has beautiful cuts of meat.
