“They are nice and friendly. They have fixed my car a few times I didn’t have no problems after. Uptown 66 is the ONLY place I let touch my car. They kno what they doing and they don’t rush. They prices are affordable. They are a good owned family company!”
“The store is bright and clean, the staff is very helpful. The food is always fresh and well stocked. I like that Ingles has items that I usually buy that no other store in my city has. This keeps me from driving to Gastonia or Charlotte to grocery shop.”
“The best and brightest gas station to visit off the hwy 85 grover exit, and that's saying a whole lot because, frankly, there's a whole lot of gas stations off that exit. What sets this one apart from the others is the variety of things inside. They sell all the typical gas station staples like drinks, beer, snacks cigarettes and of course gas but they also have practically a full service vape shop with the biggest selection of Elfbars and Lost Mary Vapes as well the most conventinal vapes and vape juices in the whole area. They also let you make sure they are in working order before you leave so you can get another one just in case it doesn't past inspection. For people who don't vape or smoke, they have a full ice cream shop in the middle of the store and a fireworks shop on the other end building. To top it all off, the employees there are genuinely happy you've stopped by and give the whole place its hometown charm that can't be found in the larger, more expensive stores that surround it. Just look for the bright yellow building; you can't miss it.”
“This is a really nice enough store. The big problem is this location isn't in what I'd describe as a Five Star one. This place did a brisk business while I was there. For some reason the customers could sense that I wasn't part of their community. Must have been the lack of having a red neck and a body covered in tattoos! LOL! Got the evil eye from everyone! Back to more relevant things; the parking was clean and not trashy at all. Prices for gasoline were surprisingly not as high as I expected as North Carolina has a very large gas tax! This stop on the outskirts of Shelby, N.C. and is deserving of four stars. As mentioned; just be aware of what's taking place around you! Ps. I don't mind red necks and totally tattooed people! I just don't like to be outnumbered by any category of folks!”

“I'm not a fan of the larger convenience stores in the area. They're too busy and overpriced. Hickory point is my preferred stop on the way to north carolina especially if it's late at night”

“The gasoline pumps worked well, and the station inside provides a wide selection of snacks and drinks, as well as the cashiers being nice. Only complaint was the bump right outside when exiting the gas station. Other than that, the location is excellent, and I would recommend stopping at this Exxon establishment.”
“Very busy area location. The cashier was very friendly and the gas prices were really good that day. The items in the store were actually cheaper than I thought they were going to be so that is always a good thing! Convenient location with easy entrances and exits with a very nice selection of snacks and whatever else you need for the trip.”
“Best slaw and chili around, only thing that I would like to see is a choice of boiled or skillet dogs, the food is great with a reasonable price, I know lots of people that love there dogs boiled, lol, or steamed. Jks food Mart is a great place to get your needs met. They've always been good to me, and stand behind their products... ?”

“Went to the Grape Stomp Festival for the first time yesterday, and we loved it!!! Staff was polite and amazing!! Was even more excited when we found out that they host weddings there too!!!!”
“A text from my wife with a shopping list, I stopped in here and picked up what she asked for. At the deli counter, a nice lady let me know that they were running behind and could I just give her the list of things I needed? That was nice and it gave me the opportunity to complete the rest of the shop. I returned and my sliced meats and cheeses were ready. Unwrapping them at home, they were as requested and good quality! The store is clean and tidy. Produce looks excellent. Fresh meats were a little higher but not unreasonable. I find cheaper at ALDI. [Review 16336 overall - 3145 in North Carolina - 1843 of 2021.]”

“Kindest most wonderful human beings. Our family was on a hike and it's a hot day. One of us couldn't make it so we drove to the nearest thing, which was Village Pantry. We were a nervous mess, my cousin was laid out in the middle of the floor and we were trying to cool her down and help her with her muscle spasms. It was so scary. *Everybody* at Village Pantry rushed to help us without hesitation. They brought us a fan, gave us ice, water, and Gatorade. They called the ambulance for us. They didn't leave our side and they gave us full human brotherly/sisterly love. They really took care of us. We will never forget their kindness. Even after the ambulance came, they checked on the rest of us and how we were holding up. Sweetest kindest people ever. Beautiful lovely humans. Thank you for all of the kindness you showed us.”

“Today I stopped here in search of a particular brand of pork skins. There were none that I wanted in my hometown; so I traveled about ten miles to Blacksburg, S.C. hoping to score big. Well; it didn't happen here! But I did discover a newer convenience store that was well stocked with everything else I could possibly want. This stop has reasonably priced gas, tons of ice cold beer, a mega selection of soft drinks, snacks upon snacks! They also have an ATM on site. This is a good place to store to visit and I recommend them!”

“Easy to get into and out of off of the interstate. They have a large sign that says fireworks, but have a note on the door saying they cannot currently sell fireworks, no big deal just information. Clerks were friendly and helpful, inside of store was neat, clean, and seemed to be well stocked. No separate truck fuel pumps, but there was truck parking. Overall not a bad stop.”

“I do so much like this travel center! Buying gas here is usually competitive with other places in town. But after using their Pilot Rewards Card ten cents per. gallon is automatically subtracted. And there is no limit on the amount purchased! You can bring multiple vehicles here in the same day ; it doesn't matter! What a deal! The store itself is stocked well! I see no shortages here on anything! The coffee is super and my favorite place locally to get a hot cup to go.Try their intense energy coffee! Smooth with a mule kick that will make you want to cut your grass with a push lawn mower! The place is clean and the personnel are friendly and helpful! This is my to go to place for gas and coffee! I highly recommend this particular travel center!”
“Friendly personnel. I generally just go for gas. Upon entering, my first impression is crowded shelving, and the floors could really use an update. Old and dirty floors are a big turnoff. If things were open and bright, it would feel more inviting. As it is, I'm not enticed for even a drink of snack. Just pay gas and go”
