Grateful A Dog Day Out could accept my dog who is young and needs the socialization with other dogs. Found the facilities clean indoor and out. Staff are friendly, knowledegeable, and kind. Feel lucky to be there. They can also bathe dog and trim nails but no cutting hair yet.

Sage Pet Hospital

She is now happy and healthy thanks to their very skilled surgeon, Dr. Julie Notestine and all of their wonderful and caring staff, who gave her the best possible care.

1824 Windsor Dr, HendersonvilleI've been to Laurel Park Animal Hospital twice for newly adopted pets, and they were great! I called 5 vets to just have stiches removed for newly spayed dog (couldn't take her back to rescue to have it done since it's closed due to hurricane damage), and all wanted to charge $$$ or were booking out months. LPAH fit her in and were very nice. I like that each room has a white board with pet's name and name of the vet and tech.
I will definitely be taking all my pets here going forward!

Animal Care Clinic
1006 Old Spartanburg Rd, Hendersonville1st visit. Mostly satisfied but had to remind the vet to check the cat's teeth which were found to have a lot of tartar. Doctor Stevenson said to stop using any canned cat food and that the dry cat food would clean the cat's teeth better. My little kitty weighed in at 18 lbs but has lost 1 pound since I adopted him.
I didn't think about it until I left but I didn't see the ears checked. Shouldn't have to ask for ears and teeth to be checked.
The staff is marvelous and carried my cat and carrier back out to the car for me. This will be my kitty's vet from now on.
My receipt is dated 1-5-18. Dr. Scott Stevenson DVM was the vet. If he never worked there then why is his (painted over)name on your billboard as well???

The first thing I noticed about him was how much attention he paid to my dog from the get go. He's noticed things about her behavior that other trainers have not, and truly seems invested in helping her become more comfortable and confident as she goes out with me into the world.
Nick has been fantastic with communication, another issue I have had with some of the other trainers I have worked with. And one of the things I appreciate the most about his approach...if something isn't working for my dog he always has another option or idea we can try. So we can find the training path that works for where she is at this moment.
So far, my dog is still a work in progress, but I've seen so much improvement since we started working with Nick at Hendersonville Dog Training and I look forward to watching my dog truly blossom with his help. Thanks, Nick. Delilah and I both appreciate your instruction and advice so very much. You are making both of our lives so much easier.

The prices are the best you will find in the Hendersonville area. The kennels are very nice and well maintained including heat/ac. She keeps everything separate and organized. I never have to worry about my boys when they are with her. Her animals are her top priority and she sticks to her schedule (eating, yard time, treat time, yard time, etc). We have used Fruitland Kennel for several years now and they have become apart of our family.

They also have fruit smoothies you can add Greek yogurt to. We also got some ham and cheese croissants which were great, cappuccino muffins and apple fritters. Everything was delicious. Everyone who works there is so kind and helpful. Definitely support your local businesses and this one is amazing!

Blue Ridge Beer Garden
402 S Church St, HendersonvilleI rolled into Blue Ridge Beer Garden after a long drive, coming to see my parent's new Hendersonville house for the first time & knowing nothing about the place. In the 1.5 years since, it's still the place I most often come back to in Hendersonville, despite sampling the food and beer at basically every place in town! I love the ambiance of the old converted gas station, the fact that you can sit inside or outside (and on chilly days, they don't skimp on the heaters) and the carousel of great food trucks that are always there. I love that you're not limited to one brewery's offerings, and instead have options from local NC establishments to interesting brews from all over the country. The bartenders know their regulars and are absolutely awesome, and I LOVE that I can take my pup, take my family, take my laptop---whatever the circumstances, Blue Ridge Beer Garden is the place to be. ALSO, it should be noted that in sleepy Hendo (where some restaurants close as early as 8 pm--why??), Blue Ridge Beer Garden is blessedly open till 10.

The restairant is homey and the tinkling live piano adds an element of sophistication that is sadly lacking in most restaurants these days.\n\nThe wine list was very vice. Everyone found a wine they enjoyed. I loved my Sparkling Rose, And Mom and her friend had the Sonoma Cutrer. As someone who detests all things Chardonnay, I have to admit. That one was excellent! In my entire life of frequently tasting wines ( and living near Wine country in CA) me liking a Chardnnay has only happened one other time. Bravo Sonoma Cutrer!\n\nAnd then the food. Lawd! This place is slap-ya-mamma wonderful! The special (Halibut with spinach and rice) was DIVINE! And Dad, who is very hard to impresss, got the the Scallops and exclaimed on the first bite "THIS is GOOD!" Most of the time he'll say "it's Alright" So a THIS is GOOD! is a rare thing!\n\nService was wonderful! Attentive but not hovering and she was very nice and knowledgeable about the menu and options. \n\nThe owner even came out to greet us! \n\nThey ask us to rate on a 5-star rating. My answer is "Why is there not a SIX star rating?"\n\nAMAZING start to finish! We'll be back, even when I'm not singing at a festival!

Oklawaha Brewing Company

Parking wasn’t the easiest but I loved that they had some TVs going - I could see this being a decent place to catch a game. They have a good size menu of beer options in various styles and everything I had was excellent. Not good. Excellent. Vienna lager, Hef, Oat IPA (Soft Focus), Breakfast Stout. All of it.
I brought home 3 4-packs I was so impressed. Server was nice enough to get me a flight even though it was Friday (don’t do flights on weekends).
The only downside is the parking but it wasn’t more than a 1 block walk from a public lot.
I think Oklawaha has a real argument as a Top 5 brewery in the greater Asheville area - and that’s a tough list to make.

The animals are lovingly taken care of and very clean for their low adoption fee. You get all Vaccinations, defleaing, Neutering spaying and microchip. All bases is covered. You also get a free vet visit for a check up after you have adopted. You couldn’t ask for more in a shelter. My heartfelt thanks to all of you there and my best wishes to you!
