“I’m trying to get my garage cleaned up, again. Decided to get some 2x4 that were 6 feet long to create shelves. Lowe’s didn’t have that. A Lowe’s employee, handsome gentleman, Shaun, was absolutely helpful to me. He was kind, professional, articulate, and gave good eye contact. I was amazed! Seriously, so many employees have no communication skills these days. They have a flat expressions, they mumble and ya can’t hear them. Shaun was the exact opposite. Keep giving excellent customer service Shaun! Give this young man a raise!”

“The staff was super nice to me and very enthusiastic about lending me advice as a brand new gardener.
I wish they were open on Saturdays… their store is the largest piece of real estate on the strip and my visitors were SO excited when they saw the old, inviting shop… only for it to be closed all weekend + Mondays, which is typically the only day bank holidays fall on. So, unless I use PTO, I can never actually shop here unless I’m off work already.
I think if they opened at least for half the day on Saturdays, it would bring so much more charm to the strip - especially if you purchase plants and seedlings at the next door farmers market! It’s a real bummer for most of us who have to work Mon-Fri, 8-5, but Im happy they are successful nonetheless.”
“I brought an antique Pirate's Box to the Waxhaw Ace Hardware location yesterday to see if anyone at the store could help me fix the closure part on it. The box belonged to my dad who passed away 18 years ago and it is very special to me. “Last year, I purchased over $20,000 in tools from a competitor just a few minutes from my house. The next week, they acted like they never saw me before. When one of those tools broke, and was in for repair for over a month, they did not show any concern. I decided to write to Rockler of Charlotte, who had not even sold me the tool, and they contacted the manufacturer and resolved the problem. Now, instead of driving 7 minutes to the competitor's store, I drive a half hour for even the smallest item. I would rather drive to Rockler where they care about customers, than go around the corner where they do not. Thanks not only to Jeff, the manager for resolving this, but to the other employees who are always very friendly and helpful.”

The store is bright and open, clean and stocked don't know why others complain about it because they have nothing else to do Ryan took great care of my warranty even though my lawnmower was there for over a month THERE IS A THING CALLED PATIENCE I know everyone has rhier problems with the public but they do tell you before you drop it off how long it will take to service it (some folks just don't listen) but I live this place keep up the good work Ryan and keep Jeff and Ana Thank you and God bless you guys ?”

“Home Depot occasionally carries the exact products I need for a home improvement job. This shopping trip was no different. I went to Homes Depot to get paint for a project I had coming up. I can't recall the name of the assistant, but he was really professional and courteous, helping me with a few brushes and project prep supplies after mixing the paint for me.After deciding to have a quick look around a few aisles - window shopping - I noticed that although the store was tidy, the overall stocked areas in the store could definitely give a shopper the that it was cluttered. The self-checkout line was lengthy, so I wish they had a register open, but the check-out process was easy. Overall, I would most certainly return for any projects or requirements I have around the house.”

“I am a woman just getting off work needing to get some 6 by 2 and all 4 ft long and this one young man came to my rescue and found me 20 but they were all to high for me to ever reach and he didn't just leave when we found them he stayed with me and got what he needed to get them down for me and he put them in my cart. I didn't think I would see him again after that but after I paid for the things in my cart he came with me and put them in my vehicle. I sure do hope Lowe's knows how special the employees are and making sure they all know that. “Outstanding service. This is not my primary store. But when I had a issue hours after Tropical Storm Helene blew through and my primary store was closed due to no power, the staff at Albemarle Road was fast and responsive so that I could get right back to work. A huge shoutout to Jesse, who was able to get things started over the phone. Even after his initial phone call, he continued working to find a solution to my problem. By the time I walked in the store 45 minutes later, he was ready to jump into action. A big thank you to both Jesse and Angel for tremendous customer service while I was in the store. I'm glad to know I can get outstanding service at any STI location.”
