“Great customer service. There's not much on big family packaged items like Walmart, so you can buy in bulk . Foodlion will five and six dollar you to death. You can sometimes find good deals. Meats are prepackaged frome outside sources, not freshly butchered. It's hard to find natural healthy foods, and those that you can find are expensive.”
“I'm an absolute junkie for tightly wrapped Carolina dogs that I can eat standing next to my car, and The Grocery Bag is the perfect spot for that. Just an amazing dog and well worth the drive to Clayton.”

“Always a great burger. I get a bacon double cheeseburger, and that's all I need. No chips or anything else on the side. I happened to be in the area and hadn't been for a while so I stopped in. I did try their chicken salad for the first time, and it was okay but not really my cup of tea - it was a little too sweet for my taste, but that's just one person's opinion. I'm glad I tried it, though. People rave about it. The larger parking area is really nice.”
“As long as I've been alive there has been a Selma IGA. The first owner Joe Moore was just an absolutely amazing guy. And I am so embarrassed to say that I don't know the new owners name, but he is just as terrific of guy as Joe was. When ever I go in and he's there he greets me with a great big smile, a handshake or a fistbump, and always asks me how I doing. The day-to-day manager John is stalwart at IGA. He's worked there since her was a kid and knows the store inside-out. All the girls that run the registers are friendly and never rude or out the way to customers from what I've see. They're always friendly and finally the Store itself is impeccable. The new owner has remodeled the front registers and the produce section and it looks amazing. And even though the store isn't very big the owner has managed to add a sort of butcher's counter with a few select cuts of meat that are different from day to day.”
“Decent place, decent pricing it's a pretty good place for budgeting for food. Different food and culture in IGA. IGA been around for so long it's like a home's welcome place it's been a part of Johnston county for very long. It feels like a family run business but it's not but it feels that way.Great place to go if you don't want to spend a crazy high amount of money. plus they have food that I've eaten years ago as a younger kid and now as an adult they still have it it's definitely my go to place for quality and pricing”
“Shout out to Food Lion in Princeton, NC. I had 2 grocery pick ups (I had forgot a few things lol.) 1 for 5:15pm the other first 8:00 pm. It was raining, actually it was pouring down rain. I called to see if it’d be better for me to get them later or maybe even tomorrow. I didn’t get her name but she said “no it’s okay you can come now” she asked what we’d be driving and that we park right in front. She came out, put all 5 bags of groceries in the car, in the rain, with a smile. Top notch customer service!”

“Everything about THIS LOCATION is great!! The group of young women that run this store obviously work really well together..Kimberly is such a breath of fresh air!! She is always so kind and in such a great mood!! I just hope the Corporate Office realizes how fortunate they are to have these young ladies here!! The store is always clean and the aisles are clear!!”

“You can tell they need more employees! The store had stock prepared to put out but with as busy as they were they couldn't step away to get to it. There was a line with two cashiers. One of them I watched, several times, attempt to get away to put things out. It wasn't because they were slow workers. This girl was breaking a sweat trying to juggle and help. There just weren't enough hands to do it ALL! I see this all the time in my local dollar generals... THERE ARE 6, SIX, within 10 miles of my home! Maybe the company should worry more about staffing the stores already in place rather than over populating the area with more of their stores....? I gave 4 stars for those girls breaking their backs to carry that load. NOT for the company itself.”

“They have a nice variety of products. There's also some fresh made foods available during certain hours. Now there's also a gasoline perk! You can save up to $35 per fill up and there's lots of ways to earn bonus points. Get their VIC card and they have digital coupons every week. Also on Thursday, senior discount on most purchases if you're over 60.”

“Under renovation, appears congested but not. I was still able to find everything I wanted without any issue except for the pharmacy where the shelves were not properly labeled so I had difficulty finding what I wanted. Checkout was not great. I waited 10 minutes before my turn. The lady was not happy. She took about 10 minutes to complete the process but I understand because my cart was overflowing. She did not even answer when I said thank you. Did not bother me one bit because I got what I wanted. Walmart is a great place to shop.”

“Best grocery store around. Meat department is like a butcher shop. Well staffed and very friendly atmosphere. Owner and his wife are normally on hand greeting people. Great place to shop- well stocked. Try their homemade sausage link. Outstanding. Also pimento cheese made on site is great. Lots of checkout lines with grocery baggers. They even take it to your car!”
