“It was messy!!! The customer service was horrible!!! The cashier needs to be fired the way he treats customers. Wouldn't even speak to us. When I ask him to put some oils in a separate bag he look at me like I was stupid or crazy. I just shook my head.”
“This store has had its ups and downs, but it's always been my favorite Dollar Tree. It's a little more compact than some of the other stores but seems cleaner even when they are unboxing and shelving. Maybe less dusty? Also, I don't know if they hired new staff or I just came on a good day but the employees were super friendly and cheerful. They've always been helpful (and patient -- this store gets busy), but they're riding a good wave right now. I still wish everything was a dollar, though.”

“All the Dollar Trees seem to over work their staff. The stock can't put on the shelves because there isn't enough staff. I suggest HIRE SENIOR CITIZENS TO WORK PART TIME TO PUT STOCK UP. HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS THAT ONLY CAN COME IN A FEW HRS . a day.

“Best customer service that I've received from ANY Dollar Tree store, ever!! Ms. Elsie and her co-workers are so nice. The way they talk to the customers as well to each other while working is incredible. The store was clean even while restocking and changing the store around for the holiday seasons. The staff is very knowledgeable of what's in stock and can point you in the direction of where it is. The best experience ever.”
“They have raised their prices but I have to give them credit for making this location so much nicer than it used to be. I moved to the area back before the pandemic, and at that time the store was usually a mess, selling a whole lot of junk and questionable food brands I'd never heard of. Just went in today and the place was clean, much more organized, and there were many recognizable brands and useful items for sale.”
“I was looking for a Family Dollar to go into so I Google find one and I came into 1518 South Miami Blvd. and I was helped by Crystal, who actually walked around the store with me see as how I haven’t really been shopping in a long time by myself And she took me through pointed out what I should and shouldn’t get. She will put me back onto my Kool-Aid that I was looking for Then I came in Deidre closed out the deal and help me with the rest of it. I think that these are too nice young ladies that’ll go above and beyond to help customers.”
“The young lady named Diedre at the 3825 Roxboro St store is such a personable person. E erytime she's the cashier I have a pleasant visit. She smiles and holds pleasant conversations. Always a pleasant smile. The other cashiers barely look at you and ALWAYS frowning. I actually don't like going there when Deidre is not there.”
“I shop this location often, as it’s my neighborhood location. It’s my 2nd favorite. I prefer shopping mid week early in the day for better stock options and late night for wonderful customer service. There was a nice gentleman who worked checkout tonight. He was kind and nice to engage with. I have been frequenting the store more often to find the Viral social media items. The home/ cleaning supplies, makeup, bath/beauty items have really surprised me with the quality of new brands like Global Beauty, Ioni and Dermasil. For $1.25-$1.50 I can stock up on some of my favorites. Glad to see more big name brands have made their way to the store also. Just be prepared to pay a little more now with the state of the economy. If you see an item that you like, I encourage you to purchase as many as you can. Get it before it’s all gone. You can never predict when the staff will restock that item again. Especially items for everyday use like soaps, hygiene products and household cleaners. Stock gets very low ! I also love that they are open to 10 p.m. ! This has been very convenient for the community.”

“Nice store. Easy to find items. Employees were friendly. The refrigerator was broken so no cold items except drinks and butter. Maybe it'll be fixed soon but that was my only issue.”
“I just left the store at 11:56 am. The male cashier was phenomenal as far as customer service goes. I’m so used to the people that work at establishments around Durham not really being friendly, but he caught me off guard the way that he greeted me when I came into the store. He was also very pleasant when he checked me out at the register. I would’ve given him ten stars for that experience if I could have. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️???”
“I made a quick stop at DT for stocking stuffers. This location had great items, candy, chocolate, socks, gum, peanuts, etc. I really liked the options. Honestly, this is an affordable choice for a few quick items. The reason for the 4 stars is due to the store being a bit messy and many boxes in a lot of the isles. I realize they need to unpack inventory but sometimes it's difficult to get to items when the shelves are blocked. I assume sales would be higher with a tidy store and less boxes in the way, Just my opinion.”
“I walked in. The cashier was on the phone talking I picked up a few things cashout and she never stopped talking on the phone gave me my change and I went on my way. She did not say one word to me (hi, bye or thank you), sad ?”
“Store opens 9 am 10 pm. Mon- Saturday
9am 9pm sunday. I know google says something different but unfortunately we don’t control the lights and we cannot assist customers properly without proper lighting. We are working with our upper management to resolve this issue.”

“I only posted to say something wonderful about the cashier, Mark. He was so kind. I didn't interact with the other older gentleman there that evening but he seemed kind as well. I can tell they are in need of help as most Dollar Trees are. As there were Carts of boxes in many places and they didn't have the gallon water I came for, but for some reason many of the Dollar trees have been out. I don't fault the staff. Just wanted to say they are kind. Made my night. Be blessed.”
