“STAY AWAY FROM PAINT IN PARKING LOT.
Never had any issues with store. There is only 4 stars due to parking lot and that's not their fault. Several times I have almost fell when it was raining. The paint is slick as ice. I have back issues and walking is unstable. So a fall could do permant damage. I dont know if there is a way to make this better but a little warning for disabled and elderly would help. I am scared to go when it rains. So just a Warning.. STAY AWAY FROM PAINT”

“Update 2025: Hot Spot has really upped their game. They completely revamped the pumps and facility. It looks nice and is clean. My wife and I even stop by from time to time and get some ice cream. People are friendly. Still have issues getting a receipt at the pumps but overall it’s a to better. I’m changing to 4 stars. If they could make diesel covered and in a better location/access it could be 5 stars and get those pumps to print a receipt.
Place is really looking run down. Can't seem to ever get a printout of a reciept. Broken air pump for tires. It seems as if nobody cares about the appearance.”

“This Dollar General is fine by me. My sweetheart and I walked in and greeted by a dude named Sage. He walked us to what we needed with a smile. Sage would not leave until he made sure we walked away happy.I didn’t find this Dollar General lacking in any way.Keep up the good work, Sage. “I love doller general, the only problem is that people are so darn lazy nowadays that they just want to keep sitting home and collecting unemployment so a lot of business do not have enough staff so the shelves aren't always packed but the prices are great and the few people that work at the two I go too are very nice. They even have to close early somedays or not open at all other days because of lack of staff, what has this world come too too smh, the laziest generation ever! But for most household things , food , pet food, anything really it's my favorite place to shop and I save so much money because the prices are awesone!!”

“DA BOMB!! They have an excellent breakfast and a good lunch in comparison with every place to eat in Murphy. The restrooms are always clean. The store is well stocked. The employees and manager are always friendly. The gas burns clean.”
