“This place was awesome.. what a great idea . Was in the habitat store and must walk by this coffee shop a dozen times but aways in a hurry to stop in . Stop in for just a cup of coffee and muffin for lunch and was told of Julia adventure in life and her humanity to helping others .. my son and daughter law were both in the Peace Corp. In the mountains of Peru. But the real thing is the use books and prices a great deal by its self .. I'm in the process of cleaning our book case now and bringing them some books that they can use. I Promise to stop in more often in the future.”
“I’ve been to a lot of botanical but Mama Bessie’s is home. No matter how far I go I haven’t seen a botanica as good as this one and the asé of the store is top tier. I feel at peace everytime I go and of course staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. Love love love Ma Bessie’s always got everything I need and no where near as pricey as these other stores selling a bunch a nothing for your whole salary!???”

“I have been attending classes at the Kadampa Meditation Center for 2 years now and it has made a HUGE positive impact in my life. The teachings provide a logical path that is wise, compassionate, and can easily be applied to everyday life and the challenges that come with it. The Teacher/Monk is amazing! He is clear, precise and plugged into the modern world. I would highly recommend the classes to anyone in search of a peaceful mind.”

“My son was interested in learning about what an archive was and did so I called up and asked if we could come in. They said sure, and proceeded to show it's around the whole place. Let us put on gloves and look at the rare books and the cuneiform tablets that they have. Really have is the full experience. It was amazing! It's so much fun to encounter folks who are clearly so passionate about what they do. I will absolutely find a reason to go back.”
“We are visiting from out of state, and I needed a book fix. Every employee we came across was so friendly and polite. While the store didn’t have the particular books I was looking for in stock, they did have a massive selection. Our BAM back home also does not have a coffee shop, so that was a wonderful surprise! Our coffee was delicious!”
“Didn’t have the book I was looking for (but neither did any B&N within hundreds of miles). But, they did have a good selection of Lego, and I was able to find the Nintendo Entertainment System Lego that was out of stock online in store.”

“These guys are fantastic! My map came in the promised window and they provided consistent updates on delivery status. Most importantly though, the map itself is beautiful! I got the World Classic Wall Map and it is even better than I hoped it would be! It has really rounded out the décor in my office. 10/10 would recommend!”

Also, I loved that they had a Starbucks in the store. The batista was super sweet and helpful. I was a little upset to see I couldn't use my Starbucks app in store, but it's not a big deal”
