“Honestly one of my favorite places to go to when I visit Raleigh. 10/10 atmosphere, coffee, book selections and recommendations. I’ve ended up getting my favorite books from here. Godkillers, This is how you lose a time war, Priory of the Orange tree and several others. I grew up in the area and remember when it first opened, and I always make a point to go when I come visit.”

“Excellent place to get books and other resources for your kids specially if you are homeschooling your kids. They have a large collection of used books too if you are on a budget. Even if your kids are public schoolers, this is a good place to get additional resources to help your kids learn quite easily. Pls try this place once and you will know what I am saying!!”

“A wide selection of books and LEGO sets, along with a dedicated children's section, magazines, and vinyl records. You'll also find birthday and event cards, a fun toy section, and even a Starbucks inside. Plus, a collection of movie discs.
Perfect for coming with friends to hangout.”

“We have a dearth of used bookstores in the triangle, but this one almost singlehandedly makes up for it. Great selection and some really good deals on older books too.”

“I’d say this is my favorite Barnes and Noble in the area. They’re all pretty similar but this one has a decent selection of items and the layout is easy to navigate. Employees are very friendly too.”

“We visited on the full a bag day for $20 and had an absolute blast. We've previously ordered online and love them. My son enjoyed solving the Rubik's cube while searching for books. Great selection. Cute kid area. Definitely coming back.”

“All grandkids need books. Staff was kind enough to go hunting in the back for the book Grandson wanted for Christmas ( Creepy underwear book?? Was specifically requested by a four year old).
After shopping, skip over to Cantina 18 for an adult beverage and a taco ?. Knocked out gifts for four kiddos.”

“The last big book chain left in the Triangle, it's one of the handful of reasons left to go to Triangle Towne Center. Book selection is as expected but magazine, bargain book, and coloring/puzzle book selection is very good. They no longer offer a large selection of calendars. Music and video prices are absolutely ridiculous. Staff is very knowledgeable.”

“This place has a wonderful selection of books that are hard to get anywhere else unless you know where to look. Titles and authors from many small/independent publishers and university publishers, especially local and other southern universities. Great poetry collection including some self-published poetry books and zines! Overall a very thoughtful collection that I am glad to have in Raleigh.”

“The scholastic warehouse book fair was amazing! Buy one box and get one free, so for two boxes of new books it was $30. The workers and volunteers were helpful and friendly. They even had some free posters near checkout. Definitely, will be going back on and hopefully towards the first day of the sale. I went on the 4-5th day, and they still had a good selection but going on the first day would have been even better. My coworker and I split the cost and each got one box for $15. For the one box, I filled up with about 33-35 books, a thing of flash cards, a few fun pens (Harry Potter wands), a few pencil cases and a miniature cell phone with markers.”

“I've been shopping here for over 15 years, and I probably should've written this review ages ago. I absolutely adore Nice Price and the owners Enoch and Brian are really great guys. They sell mostly used books, new and used vinyl, and CDs. They also have a ton of movies on DVD and Blu-Ray, comics and manga, cassettes, and plenty of excellent Nice Price merch.Despite selling a lot of used goods, the selection still feels incredibly well-curated. They make a concerted effort to always keep an eclectic array of new & used vinyl on hand and new stuff is added almost daily. So regardless of whatever obscure sub-genre of music you prefer, you’re bound to find something you like. They can also special-order music for you, which is something I ask them to do pretty frequently. The prices are always comparable or cheaper than what you’d find anywhere else, so there’s really no reason not to.As for parking, I’ve visited Nice Price hundreds of times by now and have never had an issue. There’s an entire lot behind the store which always has empty spaces and there’s some street parking nearby. In recent years, signs have gone up to help prevent people who aren’t customers from parking here. All in all, this is unquestionably my favorite record store in the area, and the only one I frequent anymore. It’s absolutely worth your time to stop in and browse from time to time.”

“So this place is in an antique shop called Cheshire’s cat. We had a hard time finding it at first because there was no store front anywhere. Glad we found it! The entire antique shop was huge and super cool but this place was our favorites. Lots of vintage books, magazines, and more. If you like historical relics this place is for you!”
