“I made the mistake of going to Pep Boys (4908 NC-55, Durham, NC), after the serpentine belt broke on my SUV near them. They quoted me double the fair price to fix it. I called Automan - Perry answered. I'd never met him. He quoted me an honest and fair price, and told me to just get the vehicle to him and he would take care of it. Perfect Service, Honest Price, Timely Same Day Repair, and Followed Up after. This place is the real deal. Thanks, Perry|Automan Team. If I lived here, this would be where I bring my cars.”

“Great experience! Ralph told me they would take me late and stayed true to that even though I had to drive 40 minutes to get there. We have used Black’s for our camper for years, as the camper fits in their bay. In and out for oil change, tire check and inspection in just over an hour. Thanks!”

4500 Pleasant Valley Road, Raleigh NC 27612
“I have been taking my cars here for 25+ years - started at the old location. I have been treated well. Prices are fair. Only once have we had a repair that was not satisfactory and they made it right. There was a period where there was a kinda cranky guy working the front desk, but he's gone & the service is back to normal again. I'm one of those guys who knows enough about car repair to be dangerous and they tolerate that, as well :) I now have college-aged boys with old cars and not much money. They have also been treated well by Duraleigh - and specifically Gary. Thanks!”

“I have been looking for an honest mechanic for YEARS in Raleigh and the surrounding area. I live in Clayton and work in WF but it was well worth the trip to bring my car to Pipers for a new clutch. They provided an honest estimate, updates when I needed them, showed me my worn parts, and my car is driving like brand new. Highly recommend this local business!!”

“I received a quick oil change, like under 10 minutes, which was great. The reason I’m giving 2 stars is because I felt they overly pushed the $57 cabin air filter. I changed it at the last oil change. They seemed really annoyed that I didn’t do it. Instead, I went out front and shook all the leaves and dirt out myself lol. They looked at me like I was crazy. 🤪 😆🤷♀. I think they’re a little overpriced as well, but for fast and friendly service, it used to be worth it. After I paid, the guy walked back into the shop. No goodbye, thank you, anything. No one told me when my car was ready up front. I’ve been coming to this location for years, and now I will be looking elsewhere because of the unfriendly and rude service.”

8681 Marvino Lane, Raleigh NC 27617
“I brought my F-150 here after purchasing it to have a complete inspection done and make sure everything was in good shape. They went through the truck, changed all the fluids, and installed a completely new front brake system. Everyone there was extremely friendly and welcoming. What I really appreciate is that they do honest, quality work. And to everyone complaining about the prices: there are several employees working here, and anyone who runs their own business knows what it costs to employ good people and operate a shop like this. Quality work has its price, and when it comes to the safety and reliability of my vehicle, it’s absolutely worth it to me. Very happy with the work and I’ll definitely be coming back!”

“Taking this thermostat housing to Bryan right now and hopefully he’ll have it done by tomorrow even. He’s never let me down before I’m gonna go ahead and sand just start having parts upgraded as often as I can since I can tell he knows what he’s doing . Best mechanic I have met so far in 4 years in The Triangle area Tell your friends about him or end up off the road because of lies and deception”

“Jose was phenomenal. He went above and beyond to help us, and this Jiffy Lube was the 6th tire place we visited in the span of 2 days! No one would or could help us, so for him to not just address our much-needed tire patch but to be thorough in assisting us with a bunch of other stuff was so great. Thanks so much for everything, Jose!”

“Took my teen’s car in for routine maintenance and Chris found that the rear shocks were failing and had damaged all 4 tires. He was able to order in parts that same day and have the repairs done well before noon the next day. Price charged was WAY less than the dealer, and much more convenient in every way for me. Definitely will be bringing my own car to Bayleaf Tire & Auto Service as well!”
